Used it for a trailer gate frame. Very easy to install and does not move at all during travel.

Installed this latch on a trailer and couldnt be happier with it. Ive had a lot of people ask where I got it as well. I will recommend this latch to anyone.

This is one of the best things that I did to my trailer. You will need to order 1 quantity to get all the 4 corners latched. I have a cheap harbor freight 4x8 folding trailer that has 1/2 plywood sides about 2 ft high. Now the plywood is not wobbly after I put the latches. I have the short sides fixed to my trailer and the long sides are removable. I recently bought a 7x7 shed from the hardware store and was able to load it very easily. I will be using my trailer more often now. I used 3/8-16 1.5 bolts and nuts to secure this. You will be able to use 1-1/4 for the side with the hold. For each pair you will need 5 bolts. I found it easier to secure the side with the hole first and then the handle.

Arrived on time, easy to install and latch holds tailgate really well.

These were way larger and heavier than I had imagined. If you need them specifically for a trailer, they would be great. If you are trying to use them for a different use, make sure you know what you are getting.

These tailgate latches are the cats meow, very strong and will hold your tailgate very secure.
