It alight at best if you asked me because I use this to keep my new card mat in and it worked fine for the first week the I started to notice there were a few problems with it. First off when you leave your mat in it for too long, the mat start to pick of the rolled look so in other words it will not lay flay on it own. secondly the bottom of the tube is not level which to me might be a bigger problem then to the rest of you guy. the third and final problem I have with it is the white on the cap of it shows up on both sides of it.

We store our die pad in this tube. Easy to use.

I dont know if its the way the glue the bottom of the tube or what, but after two days of use the bottom broke out of the tube, making it useless. I wasnt pressing on it difficulty or anything. It happened in my bookbag, the only other thing in it being a deck box. The lid was also very difficult to get off and on, which was kind annoying. It got the job done, but not for very long. If youre looking to gift a playmat tube to someone or just buying for yourself, Id look elsewhere.

Works perfectly to protect my inked playmat. Normally I had it in the cardboard tube it came in, but it started to get moldy somehow. Think it might have to do with the 80%+ humidity here, lol. Anyways, I have no complaints and it does exactly what I need it to. The bottom has not fallen out like others stated it might, so take that as anecdotal evidence.

The shape of the case was the primary driver for purchase - it does not roll off flat surfaces and is a solid construction that does not flex or crack during normal use - I travel internationally with this plamat tube and have had no issue Large enough to fit each of the playmats that I currently utilize No issue with Cap retention - each time I pull this out of my tournament pack, the cap is intact and my playmat has been protected adequately The Monster tube is the only brand that I can recommend
