Not the longest, so it wont work for larger playmats so make sure you measure, but the build is solid and the triangle shape helps it to not roll

Well, its a triangular tube that holds a mat. Its kinda hard to mess this up. The tube seems fairly durable as I take it to school with me twice a week but I would not risk throwing it in my backpack with several heavy books. I like how it is triangular instead of round as it makes it easier to set on the table and not having to worry about it rolling off.

This is an excellent product! I carry my mat in a bag with other items, and it always gets lint stuck to it in there. This keeps dirt from clinging on, and also protects it from getting caught on the edges of my plastic deck boxes. Its sturdy, looks nice, and I would recommend it to everyone!

I have a lot of playmats and this is perfect because it doesnt roll

I play MTG at my school and local hobby shop so this had some light travel (in a backpack, in my car etc.) and worked great, for a time. I soon found that the bottom was actually falling out as it is nothing more than a thin plastic sheet. One would think that because the whole tube is made of good quality plastic that the bottom would be too..but no..this came as a disappointment and has led me to now have to find a new one. I would recommend this if its just being used lightly around your house, but nothing much more than that.

This tube was designed with the idea in mind that it wont roll off the table. It certainly delivers. I see a lot of people talking about the brittle nature of the material, which may or may not be true. However, for those who take good care of their possessions, you should not have an issue with this breaking (obviously). Simply keep it in your bag, take out your mat as needed, and put the tube back into the bag. Mat tubes take up a lot of real estate on a table (those plastic fold-out tables arent very big at all!), so why leave it up there anyway? One thing I noticed about this tube is that it kind of smells weird when you open it up. Certainly not a deal breaker. Also, I found one of these tubes at a game shop for $4.99. I suppose you are paying for convenience on Amazon. I will definitely purchase more of these for other mats.

If you put this in your trunk, then throw some mess on top of it, the plastic will most likely crack. I wouldn’t stuff it in a duffle either. Get one of the higher end tubes for travel, but buy these for storing the mats you’re not using at home.

These tubes are handy for card playing mats. You can use them with just about any sort of average size game playing mat. It is sturdy enough if you do not treat it roughly. I thought two card playing mats would fit in the tube but the ones I bought are a bit thick so I wound up buying a second tube. It works well for the purpose. Just roll up the mat and stow it in the tube. Carry it in a tote bag or under your arm.
