The acrylic is not cast it is extruded and does not come with the paper masking as shown in the listing.

This sheet looks perfect - its packed with protective corners inside a carboard box, with paper protection on both sides. The sides are cleanly cut, and there was no damage to the edges or corner. Perfect for laser cutting!

It’s just what I was looking for! I have a small house and most things have to do double duty! I have the acrylic piece as a table top that rests on two fabric covered storage bins/extra seating. I’m very pleased. Oh, and a jumping, leaping cat hasn’t left one scratch!

Good stuff pain in the butt to cut go to Lowes theyll cut it for you.

We cut it with a band saw on long cuts and used a jig saw on curves. The curves were a little tricky and didnt come out perfect but it looks good for our needs.

Most of the images and description show 1/4 but this is not even close to 1/4 thick. In English units this measures 0.2295. There were a few spots that claimed 6mm, but this is even less than 6mm, in metric this measures 5.8293mm. There are no tolerances mentioned, and no statement that the specification is nominal, so the description is in error. Amazon packed this well in a large box with additional padding so it arrived in good condition. As others stated, its got a plastic protective film rather than the usual paper. My plastic film was pretty scratched up but seems to have done enough to protect the acrylic from being scratched.
