So I want to start off this review stating that the box this thing comes in is a beast.... So well designed. They really hit it out of the park on this one.... Great job holme & had field!!!! This thing is well thought out and sturdy. I would only add hinges on the back for the top to open.... But even without those ...this thing is a 10/10. Best knife display case I have seen in a while. Great buy. If your on the fence...... Get off it and pick one of these up.

Been storing my knives on a shelf, which gets dusty and isnt attractive. This looks superb on top of my dresser! I was able to store quite a few of my folders and a few watches in it. The drawer smells a bit, but I dont mind. So glad I purchased this!! Cleans up my dresser and showcases my knives.

My husband loves his knives. They wind up all over the house, which I dont love. This display promises to hold a lot of knives and other small gear, both as a display piece but also as a storage piece. This item met our expectations, then exceeded them. It comes in a black gift box and is well packed with foam inserts to protect it. The wood is a rich black without a single imperfection. Every piece is perfectly cut and fits together well. The inner drawer is lined, has divided sections, and holds lots of small EDC items, mostly 3 inch folders, small flashlights, bottle openers, etc. The simplistic design on top allows us to set the knives up open or closed, though you have to angle them a bit to make them lay how you like depending on how big the belt clip is. The top display holds 8 inch knives easily. The only complaints are that the divided sections in the drawers arent wide enough to hold most standard sized pocket knives with a carry clip, lining the channels of the holders on top would help hold the displayed knives in place better than smooth woods, and overall, its too small to accommodate larger knives at all, like a Buck 119 or a Becker bk2.

Amazing quality and amazing packaging. What a great impression this wound makes as a gift for the pocket knife collector. Keeps 8 knives out on display with a drawer to store 12 more along with done other stuff. An absolutely amazing case. A must have for the knife collector.

Typically, I’d say nearly $200 for a display case is absurd. But this is a thing of beauty. We’re talking top-of-the-line craftsmanship here. From the way the box beautifully opens, to the packaging, to the tiniest detail. It is SO NICE! It’s sparked an interest in what other products this great company offers. The only thing that I wasn’t expecting, was that most of my EDC knives wouldnt fit on the stands with their clips still attached. Obviously any EDC carry knives I have will go in the drawer anyway, so it’s a non-issue for me particularly but worth mentioning. Cannot recommend this amazing display case enough!

OK I’m going to do a thorough review with pictures and everything but I just wanted to get this out there that this thing is gorgeous. It is very well-made and beautiful and Hass to be the most extensive packing job that I’ve ever seen on an item. I don’t typically comment on packaging unless there is something very unusual about it. This thing is nested in about four boxes with layers of cushioning. They want to make sure that it is protected and every time you think you’re about to open it there’s another box inside with more padding . But this is just a ridiculously beautiful item. It will hold most your knives oh they’re not all of them and I think the drawer will only hold a 4 inch knife. But you can fit bigger ones on the top. Like I said I’m going to do a full comprehensive review but I just wanted to get the five stars out there as quick as I could.

From the moment you see the packaging this product screams class. High end materials, incredible craftsmanship and attention to details. I was able to easily store 30 knives and a few challenge coins in this box. This is sure to be an attention grabbing conversation piece that will be able to be passed down for years to come.

Ive been collecting knives for years and for years Ive been searching for a way to display my collection so I can appreciate looking at them when Im not using actually using them. Ive even designed a few display cases myself - and all involved a plexiglass cover that I just couldnt figure out how to fabricate myself. I also wanted a felt lined drawer. This display case feels like someone at Holme & Hatfield ventured into my brain and turned my ideal design ideas into reality. This case is simply remarkable. Amazing! As another reviewer so eloquently stated, this is not just a display case - its a piece of furniture. Really beautiful to look at it by itself, it reflects high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. There is ample room to display and/or store about 2 dozen pocket knives. If youre thinking of getting this for someone as a gift, rest assured it is one of the most elegantly packaged (and carefully protected) products Ive ever seen. (The last time I saw packing even close to this nice was when my wife purchased a large crystal serving bowl from a world-renowned crystal house - and that bowl cost several times what this beautiful case costs.) I cant say enough good things about this handsome and highly functional product. Most highly recommended!

This is quite the stunning case for displaying ones prized knives. The construction quality looks to be excellent throughout, and the acrylic top is crystal clear and fits flawlessly on the base. I do wish they had a two-drawer option, however. (Hopefully, they will offer an add-on module in the future.) The wood appears to be oak (black model), but not sure. This should have been clearly specified in the description. At this price level, it had best be a hardwood. As for pricing, I do feel it should be more in the $130 -- $150 range. Lastly, it is very beautifully packaged -- perfect for gift giving!

This case is substantial, it is well made and handsome. My husband is going to love it when he opens it on Christmas Day.
