> 3 dayI actually have 3 versions of this - this one and 2 of the smaller versions. its quite nice, especially for the $. It probably takes up a bit more room than it needs to but its got that humidor/watch winder statement piece vibe. the only suggestion I would have is a handle for the lid, as it is it takes 2 hands to open and close which means you need somewhere to set the lid down before grabbing something off the display. I suppose this presents some logistical issues with sicking a handle on the plexy top while still preserving the view.

> 3 dayOver the years, I have collected a lot of really nice pocket knives. I have been storing my pocket knife collection in an old, repurposed wooden jewelry box. It served its purpose, but I knew I needed something a bit more geared to not only storing, but also for showing my knife collection. Being a woodworker, I had thought about making a nice storage/display case for my knives, but like a lot of other things, I just never got around to it. This is a very nice, very elegant display case. From the shipping box, to the inner designer box that the case is housed in, you can see the care and attention to detail that this company has put into their product. When you open up the box, you find a very solid cushioning around the box to keep it safe. The cover is made out of thick plexiglass, and comes with a wiping cloth to keep the fingerprints off of it. The box is very well made – what I would call “Heirloom Quality” (something beautiful, well made, and can be passed down to your heirs). The only thing that could be better is to include some kind of pads for the bottom – for two reasons: Reason One – to keep the bottom of the wooden box from scratching a nice table top. Reason Two – when sitting on a flat surface, there is so small of a clearance between the bottom of the box, and the bottom of the drawer that the drawer front/bottom tends to “drag” on the tabletop when opening more than halfway. A set of pads on the bottom of the box would give enough clearance for the drawer to open and close a lot smoother. I know this works well ‘cause I already attached felt pads on the bottom of the box, and it made all the difference in the world when opening/closing the drawer – no more dragging! The knife case provides ample spaces for holding and displaying your pocket knives (see pics) – from small, to large, it will hold them all. The upper shelf of the case has slots for 7 knives, but you can add knives in between the slots if you need to. The drawer is felt lined, and has cubby holes to hold several knives of various sizes. Even has a cubby hole in the drawer large enough to hold your wiping cloths/cleaner/polish. The price seems kinda high, but when you consider how much money you can get tied up in fine pocket knives over the years, this really doesn’t seem so expensive after all. It is truly an investment in your knife collection – mainly security, and the ability to display for other people to enjoy too!

Greater than one weekBeing a collector of pocket knifes Ive been looking for a display case for a while now. I wasnt sure what I had gotten shipped to me, because the amount of weight that this display case Waze is phenomenal. Normally I wouldnt be terribly happy about something weighing a lot but when it comes to this display case I am very glad that it does. It is very obvious once you take this out of the box the amount of care that was put into making this item not only giftable but sturdy and a great detail put into its making. The woodworking on this is quite remarkable and the joinery is nearly invisible. The drawer is very smooth to open and the fabric on the inside is soft to the touch. It holds quite a good number of pocket knives not only on the top but the added drawer is a great addition as well. Do you like that the top display area is not glass and is a plastic acrylic, so I dont have to worry about anybody knocking into it and it breaking easily. Now for this price point it is a little on the higher end, but you definitely get what you pay for. This is exceptional value for money and well worth every cent of the price. I highly recommend this for any person that collects pocket knives.

> 3 dayLooks great! I just wish the slots were a little wider to accommodate for the thickness of Benchmade auto knives.
