> 24 hourThey put as much thought into the packaging and presentation as they did the case. The case is beautiful and well built. I may have missed this in the listing, but the stands on the top portion are attached and not moveable. Fine for us, but it may be a big deal for someone else so worth mentioning. I do wish there was room for a few more up top, but thats just preference, not a flaw. The drawer is nice too, for the knives you want to access more often. The one thing I think they should add is hinges on the top, so you can open it with one hand, or at least open it and not have to set the lid somewhere else.

> 24 hourAs a pocketknife collector, I’ve used several cases and holders over the years. This one, hands down, is the best one I’ve owned. First off, it comes very neatly packaged. While this doesn’t matter for everyday use, it does make it a more impressive gift item. On top of that, there’s very good padding and protection beyond the delivery packing that helps protect the wood and covering in transit. It is real wood. I could tell by the slightly rough texture in one area that wasn’t as well sanded as the others. (Very minor and didn’t negatively affect anything.) The topper is plastic, not glass, but is very solid plastic. Just be careful not to scratch it or put anything heavy or sharp on top. It fits perfectly on the wood base without any wobbling. The drawer is well-padded. The sections for the knives are slightly shorter in the front than they are in the back. I measured approximately 5.25” long in the back and 4.5” in the front. I was able to fit most of my pocket knives in these sections, however, they were too short for my butterfly knife and a few others. That’s fine because if I wanted, I could fit those knives on the top display area. The bottom of the display case is flat, smooth wood. As such the case slides around a bit when opening the drawer. Even with the weight of the knives. To counter this, I simply used self-adhesive rubber feet bumpers (like ASIN: B09L82ZX2K), which worked perfectly. Only needed four of them; one for each corner. Now the case doesn’t slide around at all. The overall quality of this case is great. The design is impressive. There was a slight nick on the handle, but I easily covered it up using a Sharpie. Also, when I first opened the case, there was a strong smell. Could either be the adhesive used on the padding or perhaps the stain. Either way, the smell cleared up when leaving the drawer open for a few days. So was no biggie.

> 24 hourFirst this was packaged amazingly, and it would be well suited as a gift. It was not only protected well, but also looked quite presentable. I ordered this because I had too many knives on one shelf and hoped this would be a better way to organize rather than an actually display, what came I was very impressed with! I can tell parts that are less expensive and may appear plastic or vinyl wrapped wood, and if handmade these would likely be an expensive wood, however this would also add substantially to that cost. This really does look good, and I doubt anyone would be disappointed in receiving it.

> 24 hourTypically, I’d say nearly $200 for a display case is absurd. But this is a thing of beauty. We’re talking top-of-the-line craftsmanship here. From the way the box beautifully opens, to the packaging, to the tiniest detail. It is SO NICE! It’s sparked an interest in what other products this great company offers. The only thing that I wasn’t expecting, was that most of my EDC knives wouldnt fit on the stands with their clips still attached. Obviously any EDC carry knives I have will go in the drawer anyway, so it’s a non-issue for me particularly but worth mentioning. Cannot recommend this amazing display case enough!

> 24 hourThe Armory Black Wood Knife Case is one of those things in life that you never knew you really needed/wanted until you have it. It is exquisite and stunning in its quality and craftsmanship and makes a beautiful center piece on my bedroom dresser. My favorite pocket knives that Ive collected over the years look like museum quality pieces when displayed in this case. The signature packaging I received it in really shows the care and fervent belief in quality the company has for this product - Ive never seen anything packaged that well. I love this knife case and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality and pocket knives!

> 24 hourIm just beginning to start a knife collection, so this display case is what I was looking for. Previously I just threw all my knifes inside my desk or truck. Now this collectors box keeps them protected and clean as it keeps the dust off. I have not filled the small compartments inside the drawer but plan on putting my jewelry inside. Later I might switch to displaying my watches instead of knives, so its nice to have both options. The stain on the box is well applied as there are no parts without stain. The drawer slides in and out without getting stuck and having to readjust. No issues just a well made display case.

> 24 hourMy husband loves his knives. They wind up all over the house, which I dont love. This display promises to hold a lot of knives and other small gear, both as a display piece but also as a storage piece. This item met our expectations, then exceeded them. It comes in a black gift box and is well packed with foam inserts to protect it. The wood is a rich black without a single imperfection. Every piece is perfectly cut and fits together well. The inner drawer is lined, has divided sections, and holds lots of small EDC items, mostly 3 inch folders, small flashlights, bottle openers, etc. The simplistic design on top allows us to set the knives up open or closed, though you have to angle them a bit to make them lay how you like depending on how big the belt clip is. The top display holds 8 inch knives easily. The only complaints are that the divided sections in the drawers arent wide enough to hold most standard sized pocket knives with a carry clip, lining the channels of the holders on top would help hold the displayed knives in place better than smooth woods, and overall, its too small to accommodate larger knives at all, like a Buck 119 or a Becker bk2.
