Such a fun and great game especially for friends. One of my friends is super good at the game! It’s much more challenging to come up with single syllable words to describe the word on the card than one might think! I have to say boinking people in the head was fun until mine unfortunately stopped inflating. I really came here to look for any expansion packs but i just had to give my review on this game! It’s kind of like taboo if you’re into games like that, this game is very fun. The single syllable aspect makes this a little bit more challenging. So far everyone i have played this game with absolutely loves it. I thought at first the boinking was overkill but genuinely it makes the game so much more enjoyable! I definitely recommend this especially for game nights. Its super easy to learn the rules and go. It’s a quick game too if youre the type of person that likes to play a lot of games in one night. Just sad my 84 year old grandma couldn’t play with us, haha just kidding. Truly, get it! It’s so fun.

Love this game so much! It’s the same as Taboo but maybe better. Good for all ages and anyone can pick it up quickly. Also everyone gets a good laugh out of bonking each other.

Fun game and helps the kids with Describing an object with one word

I recently purchased the board game Poetry for Neanderthals and it has quickly become one of my favorite party games! The game is easy to learn and play, and its perfect for groups of all ages. The concept of the game is simple: players take turns giving clues to their teammates to help them guess a word or phrase, but the catch is that the clues can only consist of one-syllable words. If a player uses a word with multiple syllables, they get bopped on the head with a toy inflatable club, representing the Neanderthal perspective. The game is not only fun but also incredibly hilarious. Watching your friends and family struggle to come up with one-syllable words for complex phrases is a riot, and getting bopped on the head with the club adds an extra layer of hilarity. The game comes with a deck of cards with words and phrases, as well as the inflatable club and a rulebook. The components are all of high quality and the art is colorful and fun. Overall, I highly recommend Poetry for Neanderthals to anyone looking for a fun and entertaining party game that will have everyone laughing and having a great time!

Ive played this game and was excited to get it. However, the inflatable club has a slit in it that we discovered the first time we tried to blow it up. Very disappointing.

This is so much fun. There are instructions for playing with few players as well as a many. My first time playing had an age range in the group from 12 to 59. Worked out great. Very clever game

Very fun game. My husband and sons have played it many times with friends and everyone enjoys it.

This is my favorite game right now. We played it with family of all ages at Christmas and it had us all laughing so hard. I will definitely be playing it at every game night I can from here on out.

Bought this for a family gift - they have told me how much they love it. Said that it was one of the best family gifts they have had in a while.

My young adult kids and their significant others, along with our extended families, have had a blast playing this! I used it in a high school classroom, as well, because it’s easy to learn. It is so much fun! I wouldn’t recommend for kids younger than 12, or even 14, because it is a little difficult.
