This backpack is both beautiful and functional. I received it as a birthday gift, and I love it! The leather and the workmanship are of the highest quality - even better than I saw in Florence, Italy. This bag will serve me well for a very long time.

My wife purchased as a gift for out daughter entering high school and she loved it. Originally I had concerns that she was more concerned with fashion over function with the backpack looking great but not holding up over the long term. The bag has held up well through a school year and my daughter loves the look. This is not the largest bag and generally stuffed pretty full for a school day.

It seems well-made at first glance, but after three months of occasional use, the clip that latches down the top flap fell apart. I doubt this will live up to my expectations. At this rate it will last less than two years, not 20. The magnetic snaps on the side pockets are obnoxious. Just use buckles like the front pocket. It takes longer to line up that tiny magnetic nipple than it would to open or close a buckle.
