This is a solid bag. Thick leather, and the seams have held well so far. It lost 1 star because of the useless magnetic closures on the side pockets. They dont hold well, and will result in things getting pick-pocketed or simply falling out, so Ill replace them with buckles at some point. Also, the 2 functional buckle straps are split leather rather than full grain and only have 1 hole punched for the buckle. Pay attention to the measurements, as this is a little bit smaller than a standard backpack.

lets start out by saying the package arrived on time. Their is a bag inside of the shipping box that the backpack was wraped in. Used to keep the elements out , and the wear and tear of the mailing system. This is a Christmas present for my wife. Not so sure about this now. I might have to put it under The tree with my name on it. First thing you will notice is the scent of leather, in a good way. Ordered the dark brown color, and its very nice, as shown in this picture. Nice rolled edges. Stitching is right on. Draw leather cord used to close the bag topside. The main cover and the front pocket have a roller buckle in brass The two side pockets are a magnetic type which seems to lock just fine and are of matching color ,brass . On the right side there is a small D ring , it will hold a clip for your watch,keys,coffee cup but not all three. On the back there is a grab handle , this is a nice convenients. Shoulder straps are wide up top. The shoulder straps are attached and run through two more brass buckles on each side at the bottom of the bag. These two buckles on either side are also gustted in at the right angle to carry on your back comfortably Well thought out in my option. Inside the bag is an added zippered bag for keys, wallet and such to quickly get at. I have done a lot of searching to find this pack. I new when I saw it , quality jumped right off the page. Im a picky guy and enjoy my things. I like quality. I dont mind paying for quality. The size is right on as stated. The more you use this , the more it will break in if you will. I guess the only thing that bugs me is the small D ring, maybe you could change this for future sales. Other than that , I give it full marks.

It just came today so cant comment on durability. However, it is beautiful and looks, feels and smells like real leather. It is heavy and seems well made (we shall see how the stitching holds up-hopefully well). I ordered light brown and applied a generous coat of leather oil to it (which darkened the color), next is water sealant after 24 hrs. It is a large bag, the shoulder straps are nice and thick (and adjustable) and the side pockets are wide wnough to fit a water bottle. Beautiful bag.

Everything as described. No smell, perfect quality. Very happy with my purchase :)

I bought it for my wife who is 5-2 and it fits her perfectly. She loves it! The quality of the leather is outstanding and with care (leather moisturizer) the bag looks even more stunning. Its got the right amount of pockets and holds her 15 laptop, peripherals, and other work items with ease.

Perfect bag

Let me start out by saying I returned this pack, only because opted for

I was a bit shocked that the bag is bigger than I expected. I was thinking of making it my everyday bag but it looks so big for my frame. Pros: - sturdy even after washing it from the machine (I know, this shouldnt be done but it still looks great) - thick leather - strategic placement of pockets - cheaper than the usual genuine leather backpacks Cons: - bigger than expected - not for traveling since its quite heavy (something that you would expect from authentic leather) - stitches & glue are not perfect (but still works)

Backpack is just as shown in photos. Leather is very nice. Despite some reviews I saw, bag does not have an odor. I got it to use on a trip which I leave for in 2 days. Seems durable and just right for my trip.
