> 3 dayEven after you set it up with Smart Life and connect it still will not hook to Smartthings. This is not compatible. If that is what you are looking for do NOT BUY

Greater than one weekThis works with generic apps like SmartLife, which is great. I can configure my temperature probe (also SmartLife compatible) to turn on and off fans at different temperatures. Setup was the typical process and not eventful. It just works. I will update this review if that changes, but for now, I can recommend it.

Greater than one weekLo tengo integrado con varios articulos y hasta ahora me siento contento con la inversion, funcionan muy bien a pesar de que ocupan mas espacio del que me gustaria, esto cuando tienes que conectar mas cosas en la misma toma de corriente

> 3 dayThe instructions in the box will have you install an app called Osaio. Its pretty terrible. But the Amazon listing says to install Smart Life which works great. Now I can turn on the fan pointing at my neighbors porch when they start smoking, without leaving my bed.

> 3 dayI like how easy these plugs were too configure. I use the Tuya IOT platform and they work exceptionally well. My router is within 100 ft of the these plugs.

10-06-2025These are not the first Porik mini smart plugs I’ve ordered. I have four of these configured to control old-school electric fans in my home. They are so handy and easy to use that I decided I needed a couple more for fans in other rooms. Not only do these turn the appliances on and off (when summer is over, I’ll probably use them for other appliances and non-smart lamps), but you can set timers or schedules with them. I already had the Osaio app on my phone and tablet, so this was easy enough. I did have a bit of difficulty adding these two new WiFi plugs when my tablet was connecting through my WiFi extender. I may have had the same difficulty last time. I changed to the main network router, made sure the new plugs were in visual range of the router, and also, as the manufacturer recommends, kept the device with the app pretty close (within about a yard) to the smart plugs. That worked easily. Once they’re recognized/registered, you can move them to more distant outlets within the range of your WiFi. The app recommended that I update the firmware on the plugs once they were recognized, which was quick and easy. You can initially name the plugs through the app, and when I placed them in the outlets where I’ll be using them, I renamed them so I knew what they were controlling. I’ve included a number of screen captures. The Osaio app is good—not all manufacturer WiFi apps are great, but I’ve never had a problem with this one. That said, I also use Google Home to control these plugs because it consolidates my smart bulbs, too. So when I’m done for the night and getting into bed, I use Google Home to power down everything—though sometimes I use the timers on one or two of these plugs to keep the fans going for another hour or two. I’ve just become addicted to the smart home devices and these Porik plugs work really well. The app, as mentioned, is a good one; the size of the plugs is compact (though if you have these in a standard outlet, you’re not going to be able to plug anything huge in the outlet above or below it—but there are ways around that, like an extension cord for the other thing); and these are priced VERY reasonably. My home keeps getting smarter. I wish I could say the same for myself. Though… these are a very SMART purchase

> 3 dayThis works nicely with Alexa and Echoes, and the price is great. The setup is easy, but I wanted this to control a bedside lamp. The problem was that this is so large that combined with the lamp plug, I have to move the nightstand a good two inches further away from the wall than it was before. I will put a flat plug on the lamp, but it will still be further than I wanted. Other than that and in use for items where there are no space constraints, it works very well. We also were able to use it on a lamp that plugs into our media cabinet and it works great from inside an enclosed cabinet. I wish that they were a bit smaller but still a very good set to purchase. > 3 dayNeeded four of these for lamps. Set up the first one without a hitch so I know what Im doing. Ive set up dozens of these before. All downhill after that. The other three are trash. Followed the directions to the letter and they wont connect. Waste of money and time.
