It moves a lot and creates mess

Once you place it on the toilet it does not slide around. My toddler feel safe on it.

Absolutely love the seat, the non-slip ring is genius, the inner rim extends slightly into the adult seat underneath it for even more stabilization, and it’s easier for my boys to put the seat on correctly because of that inner rim basically ensures the seat is in the right position as it can’t be placed on sideways. It looks nice, simple, and it’s not an eyesore like so many other potty seats (shouldn’t these things actually look like smaller versions of what we are training our children to use rather than fire trucks and Mickey Mouse?) The included hook is a really nice touch and my older son already knows to take it off and put it back on the hook, so that’s cool. My one and only complaint is that the splash guard is hardly a splash guard. Potty seat companies should remember that many little boys aren’t fully developed down there and their weenies don’t quite hang down yet. Ideally all potty seats should have a very high splash guard or an attachment for this purpose.... it would be really cool if Jool decided to make a removable splash guard for this seat! We’re still using it but I’m going to have to craft my own version of a detachable splash guard to avoid overspray (lol) other than that the seat is perfect and miles ahead of the majority of potty seats on the market.

If your child can climb onto the toilet by themselves with or without a little stepping stool, then this little seat is perfect. So light-weight and easy to set on and off the toilet for the little one.

The non slip design feature works well. However the opening should be longer in the rear area and the splash guard is not adequate for boys.

Were on our third child potty training, and Ive learned I hate stand-alone training potties and foam potty seats (they always end up disgusting!). The simplicity of this design and the ease of cleaning were very appealing after seeing something similar at a friends house. And I do love those aspects: it is super easy to clean. However, the hook it comes with didnt last more than a day in our house. I gave it more than 24 hours for the adhesive to stick before even hanging the seat on the hook, but the first time my toddler took the seat off the hook himself, it ripped the whole hook off, never to stick again. The loop the seat hangs with is so small, and made of the same gripping material that goes around the seat to keep it from slipping, that it also grips the hook itself, causing a good amount of friction when removing it. But the most frustrating aspect (because it makes no sense) is that we routinely find urine on the toilet seat after lifting up the training seat. Despite the urine guard dropping below the height of our toilet seat, there is commonly a spray of urine on the seat when hes done. The physics of it are thoroughly confusing to us. If this werent the easiest to clean training seat weve ever used, I probably would have tossed it already. All in all, it still meets my top expectations: - It is easy for my toddler to use himself (despite the hook malfunction). - It is very easy to clean (no foam to soak up urine, no cracks, few crevices).
