What an incredible bag. The quality feels excellent and durable. Puts my other bags to shame. It has a good strap on the back that lets in sit firmly on top of my roller carryon bag. The backpack straps slide nicely into a zipper pocket on the top of the bag so they arent in the way when used as luggage. Many zippered pockets on the outside both front and back as well as inside. Expands with a zipper like regular luggage. Two separate compartments inside. One for a laptop and the larger for clothes, etc. Included is 4 zipper bags for organizing clothes, toiletries, shoes. Great looking. Incredibly versatile. Best bag that I have ever had.

So I got this to be an emergency kit bag that I can grab and run. The back is padded great for long wear. The straps are generous with plenty of room to go around my shoulders comfortably at 250lbs. It’s tight across the bust but that’s not their fault, my bust is 57”. I checked through the stitching and found no gaps or messed up lines. I do wish the zippers were metal and had rings to be lockable. The included sorting bags are awesome, I’m using one for solar power banks, one for emergency clothing, one for a small camping stove, folding bucket, and cooking/eating items. There is clearly one that would be a shoe bag, and another that might work out great as a med kit, although I’m stuffing in a much more personalized one. I was also able to fit in an emergency crank power radio/flashlight, a second flashlight, binoculars, and emergency blankets, along with so many other things. You can really stuff this thing to the gills. I can’t speak for how well it will travel, the way I’ve filled it up. It’s bulgy all over now. And it’s too soon to tell about durability, until I’ve tried hauling it all over the place just to see how it holds up. I do think for the price I got a good deal here, and I’m pretty happy with it for what I’m using it for.

Although I have not yet used this bag for travel, I was able to fit a dog bed plus 2 more smaller packages as I walked to deliver the packages to a friends house. The backpack straps are comfortably padded and can be completely hidden away in the back pocket when not used. Theres hand straps on the long and short ends of the bag to suit your carrying preference. The material is soft yet feels pretty durable. The zippers are incredibly smooth. All in all this is an exceptional travel bag, however I dont know if it would actually fit under the seat on an airplane. If used for that purpose, likely you would have to leave some space in the bag so it can be folded a little to fit under the seat.

So, I thought this might be helpful for my son for school. Hes a junior and has a lot of stuff to carry. However, this bag is not good if you have to get into it frequently because it has so many buckles. The craftsmanship is high quality though. Everything seems sturdy and well made. It comes folded in half, and takes a bit of work to straighten it out. If you fill it with items Im sure it would straighten out quickly. Overall, Im not convinced it is the most useful bag because it has so many buckles. Really look over the pictures and decide if it will fit your needs.

This is a really well-designed bag that can be used as either a suitcase or backpack. I like that the shoulder straps can be tucked away into a pocket in the back when not in use. There are oodles of zippered pockets on the inside and outside of the bag to help you stay organized. It also comes with three packing cubes and a shoe bag. In the photos, I’ve stuffed the packing cubes with towels to show how much they can hold. This bag also has the capacity to expand several inches by unzipping a zipper in the midline of the bag so you’ll have room to pack those souvenirs you might acquire on your trip. What I like most about the bag is how lightweight it is, especially if you plan to carry its contents on your back. Lastly, the thick padding around your lower back makes it easy to wear as a backpack. I can’t say enough good things about this carry on backpack, especially given its very reasonable price.

A really good carry on backpack. Lots of different pockets and compartments. Has a good padding at the back so nothing is digging into your back. One minus is the straps are kind of at a weird spot so the backpack is sort of angled weird on your back, but maybe some more adjusting the straps can fix that problem. The many compartments make packing comfortably a breeze. Very pleased!

This is the perfect backpack for a short trip and to carry-on the plane or train with you. The bag seems to be well made with many compartments and places to store things in an organized way in the many zippered compartments. There are so many compartments I am not sure I found them all yet! LOL. The bag has a nice appearance which would fit into a professional office or for business travel, not like a cheap bag. This is not a hiking or overnight camping style backpack but is meant for the professional or mature student needs. I do wish the shoulder straps were a little larger as I am a x-large male, but I cannot actually complain about anything regarding the construction or appearance of this bag.

The Powaiter Carry-on Travel backpack is all business. It looks professional and is designed to organize and meet all of your packing needs. I love how it opens up flat like a suitcase. When you unzip the main compartment, youll see the top side has two same-sized zippered compartments -- one mesh and one waterproof. The main compartment meanwhile has a small zippered pocket for valuables and a zippered pocket where you can put a power bank to connect with a cord that leads to a USB port on the outside of the backpack for easy phone charging. The main compartment holds the 3 packing cubes and shoe bag that comes with the backpack (*note -- these are not compression bags). It should be enough space for up to a 2 or 3 day trip depending on how you tend to pack. You can expand the size of the main compartment by unzipping one of the outside zippers. The front of the backpack features a smaller compartment that has a dedicated space for a laptop and slots for pens and a phone, and a larger and a smaller zippered pocket for valuables. Theres also two zippered pockets on the outside of the front of the backpack and one zippered pocket on the bottom third of the back of the bag. So many secure pockets! Theres a side pocket for a water bottle, a strap for putting around a luggage handle and adjustable buckles to compress the main compartment and make it less bulky. The backpack can also convert to a duffel by stowing the straps away in a zippered pocket in the back and using the side handle. In terms of comfort, the back of the backpack is padded and has breathable mesh. The shoulder straps are wide and cushioned and there is a chest strap to keep the backpack from swaying. While full of really smart features, the backpack is missing two things I wish it had: a waist belt to keep the weight off your shoulders and at least one locking zipper to keep a wallet extra secure. When I packed for a 3-day trip, the backpack weighed about 17 pounds. My pet peeve when it comes to traveling is having sore shoulders from too heavy of a bag. The Powaiter carry-on backpack was comfortable enough going through an airport. However I wouldnt want to wear it for hours on end.

Plenty of space for a few days of clothes and toiletries plus extra zip area on the outside for laptop, notebook, and travel docs. Purchased the bag so I could air travel with crutches and it worked great!
