I was so pleasantly surprised with this convertible carry-on bag/backpack. It is nicely compact for storage and with the expansion option, opens up large enough to hold all I would need for a weekend trip with an easy to carry option or straps to make it a backpack. Everything is laid out perfectly with this bag. The first photo is the overall view from the front. Second photo shows the nice detail provided on the side pocket for a water bottle with the elastic sewn in (it is on both sides) to make sliding your bottle in easy. Such a simple but appreciated addition! Third and fifth photos show open view of the bag unzipped with the extra bags on the right hand side. They store nice and flat if you don’t need them but, are very handy to have in the event you do need some extra storage along the way when traveling. The 4th photo shows one of the interror side zippered pouches that holds the port for plugging in a power bank. This is my first bag to offer this and I love having this option. The connection is conveniently located on the outside of the bag to connect my device to. The front zip out section to hold a laptop is nicely padded and offers multiple compartments for paperwork. I also love how the straps to convert to a backpack are hidden inside one of the back pockets. The ease with which to make the conversion is perfect. The 7th photo includes a marker to show how deep one of the outside pockets is - my fingertips are at the spot where the brown paper is resting. A small detail, but it is not common to see and is a nice feature. The last photo shows the handle which is thickly cushioned and covered with breathable fabric. The shoulder straps are also very well cushioned, sturdy, and attached securely. I will be breaking this in on my next weekend trip and look forward to seeing how it performs in action!

I have been looking for a new backpack that will actually hold my older 15.6 HP ZBook and my work Dell 14 and this one does that. This really is a nice travel backpack. The large section has elastic straps to hold down clothes and there are several included smaller bags (somewhat flimsy but definitely functional) to use for medicines or toiletries or other things you want to keep separate. Theres even an included shoe bag. If youre planning a weekend getaway or short trip this bag would do very nicely for that. It will also haul a larger laptop and smaller laptop to and from work (in addition to all the other stuff I like to carry). The fabric is strong enough to hold up to some abuse and while it took me a bit to figure out all the padded straps (the main ones were initially hidden in the top back compartment) I think the possible configurations and provided pockets would do very nicely for a weekend trip somewhere.

Wow. I didnt know half of what I was getting when I ordered this! SO MANY pockets! I thought it was weird that since it looked like a backpack that it did not have back pack straps... ZIP! Behold! Hidden back pack straps! There is so many separate compartments to store stuff in I dont know what Id use them for! And to top it off it came with like 5 extra little bags to store stuff in. A great separate area for a laptop and USB plug to use with a battery pack! We just needed a simple weekend travel bag but we got so much more.

There are so many pockets and compartments! I looked at it for a few minutes and was amazed at the number of storage options. I went back to it and found a bunch more pockets I didnt see the first time. I feel like when I have it packed and ready to travel, I will have to practice finding my stuff a few times before I go. Starting with the front, there are two zippered pockets. One is about 8x8, the other one slants a little and tapers from a little under 8x8 to a little under 8x7. When you unzip the main cover, there is storage for a laptop. It is padded and 12x14. It is supposed to hold up to a 17 laptop. Facing that in the same compartment are two zippered pockets, two unzippered pockets, and two pen slots. The two regular pockets and one of the zippered pockets will hold my plus-sized phone. One of the zippered pockets is large and will hold a hardcover book or other items. The other zippered pocket is mesh and will hold office supplies, charging cords, aux cables, earphones, etc. The next large section is the full size of the bag. It has straps to hold clothing in place and will allow you to open this pack like a suitcase. It has a long narrow mesh pocket on one end. The other side pocket introduces a pretty nice feature. On the outside of the suitcase, there is a USB charging port. The other end of the USB connection is in this pocket. You can put a power bank in this pocket, plug in the USB, and run a charging cord from your phone to the USB port on the outside of the suitcase. Also in this area on the opposing side are two more zippered pockets. One is clear plastic and is a little under 12x9. The other is mesh and is almost 12x7.5. I guess this is the point in an infomercial where I should say Wait! Thats not all! On the back is a heavily padded pocket that the description said is to hide valuables. It will actually easily hold a 20 oz. bottle of water, and I think it would keep it cold for a while. There is also a full length padded pocket that runs the entire length and width of the bag. This is where you hide the backpack straps if you are not using them, but it will hold a lot of other stuff. So basically, the back of this bag is heavily padded where it meets your back. And if that isnt enough, they include 4 extra bags to pack things in. One is a zippered bag that has mesh on one side and opens all the way up when you lay it flat. There is a small bag that is see-through plastic on one side and apparently is for toiletries. There is also a shoe bag and a second zippered bag that has mesh on one side and is approximately 12x10. There is one additional pocket on the outside of the bag, and also a handle to carry it with if you choose not to carry it like a backpack. It is padded, as are the backpack straps. There is also a strap on the back of a bag to slide over the extended handle on a rolling suitcase if you want to go that route. This bag has pretty nice fabric inside and out, and all the zippers work very well. The suitcase is expandable from 7 inches high to 9 inches high. As you can tell, there is an incredible array of storage pockets and compartments. I may be inexperienced in this area, but I have never seen a bag like it. The only con I can think of is I wont remember where I put all my stuff. Its a great bag.

Ive been looking for a new laptop bag to go with the 17 inch laptop for work. I needed a bag that would hold not just a laptop but all the cables and connections that you need while you are on the road. What I didnt expect was that this bag also doubles as a suitcase! There is enough room inside this thing for 3 days worth of travel without needing a separate carry on! Lots of pockets and spaces to put everything. It has straps to be worn like a backpack and the straps hide in a pocket so you can carry it like a briefcase and another zipper so you can slide it on a suitcase if you need to carry one. Very easy to carry and get in and out of. I sometimes get lost in all the zippers, but thats just me. Great bag!!

I wanted a weekend/overnight bag that would be able to hold everything I need and want in one compact bag. This bag offers so much more! It goes above and beyond with its very functional and thoughtful design. The bag is compact but can be expanded if more space is needed. It has 2 handles and backpack straps to make it super easy and quick to grab on the move and hold however is most comfortable and convenient. The backpack straps have a comfortable mesh padding with a chest strap to keep the bag in place while wearing it, and when not in use the straps can be concealed. Even the buckles that the backpack straps clip into have a cleverly concealed pocket. Once tucked away you’d never know it could convert into a backpack. The compartments on the travel bag are endless! There is a place to store everything, including discreet zippered pockets for smaller electronics, charging cables, or sensitive materials like a wallet or passport. POWAITER even includes packing cubes to take organizing to the next level. As functional as this bag is, it’s also worth mentioning how stylish it is. The material, quality, durability, and color are excellent. I appreciate that the bag is soft and pliable because there are fewer limitations when packing and storing/stowing the bag. From clothes, shoes, toiletries, and electronics, everything I need for a 2-3 day trip can be packed into this bag beautifully. My only complaint is that I need to buy another bag for my spouse because this one is so amazing, we need to each have our own!

This is a really cool laptop bag that can easily accommodate a 17 laptop. There is also a bonus included with this purchase. Not only do you get the backpack, but there is a suitcase/backpack organizer kit on the inside to further separate and organize clothes and travel items. There are many zippered compartments to store stuff. I think it has good zippers, good stitching, nice finishing and eye appeal. Ive never heard of this brand before, but it is quite nice. I highly recommend this product. The only issue with this style bag is that a 17 laptop tends to be quite heavy sometimes, and there could be additional padding engineered into the design of this backpack.

If I could rate this 10 stars, I would. It is worth more than the price. First off, it is so versatile, it can be used as a weekend getaway bag and at the same time take work with you if needed - one bag and done! Seriously, you can even do away with your wallet! Three different ways to carry this bag, from the long side, short side, or as a backpack. Secondly, all the different pockets! A pocket for a water bottle, it also comes with four other bags you can use - or not - to separate items. I mean we have so many pockets already, but nice addition. One of the bags is a small drawstring and the other 3 different sizes, S, M, L. The bag also has an extendable section if more space is needed. Your belongings are better secured. The strap to use the bag as a backpack is connected to, get this, the front and not the back of the bag. There are also interlocking clips on the short side. This allows all zippers to be covered thus taking longer for anyone to try and steal anything from the bag. The bag is padded all around with extra padding on the back for cushioning and material on the back is breathable mesh. The backpack straps come in a zippered compartment that can store things also. The carrying straps are also padded, so the weight of the bag will not be a strain on fingers. Lastly, a USB and cable is attached for your convenience.

The Powaiter Carry-on Travel backpack is all business. It looks professional and is designed to organize and meet all of your packing needs. I love how it opens up flat like a suitcase. When you unzip the main compartment, youll see the top side has two same-sized zippered compartments -- one mesh and one waterproof. The main compartment meanwhile has a small zippered pocket for valuables and a zippered pocket where you can put a power bank to connect with a cord that leads to a USB port on the outside of the backpack for easy phone charging. The main compartment holds the 3 packing cubes and shoe bag that comes with the backpack (*note -- these are not compression bags). It should be enough space for up to a 2 or 3 day trip depending on how you tend to pack. You can expand the size of the main compartment by unzipping one of the outside zippers. The front of the backpack features a smaller compartment that has a dedicated space for a laptop and slots for pens and a phone, and a larger and a smaller zippered pocket for valuables. Theres also two zippered pockets on the outside of the front of the backpack and one zippered pocket on the bottom third of the back of the bag. So many secure pockets! Theres a side pocket for a water bottle, a strap for putting around a luggage handle and adjustable buckles to compress the main compartment and make it less bulky. The backpack can also convert to a duffel by stowing the straps away in a zippered pocket in the back and using the side handle. In terms of comfort, the back of the backpack is padded and has breathable mesh. The shoulder straps are wide and cushioned and there is a chest strap to keep the backpack from swaying. While full of really smart features, the backpack is missing two things I wish it had: a waist belt to keep the weight off your shoulders and at least one locking zipper to keep a wallet extra secure. When I packed for a 3-day trip, the backpack weighed about 17 pounds. My pet peeve when it comes to traveling is having sore shoulders from too heavy of a bag. The Powaiter carry-on backpack was comfortable enough going through an airport. However I wouldnt want to wear it for hours on end.
