We took three of these on a two-week trip to Alaska. We liked having a lot of zippered sections in which to place travel documents. We liked that it had an interior pocket where we put a small auxiliary battery connected to an exterior jack with which an iPhone could be charged. Our battery did not appear to be strong enough to charge an iPad Pro, but it worked fine for the iPhone. Zippers appeared to be strong and worked well. The adjustable straps allowed it to fit comfortably on many body types. It is well built and therefore is not particularly light, so it can be quite heavy if fully packed. It has the option to expand the main compartment which we did not use. Without expanding the main section, it fit under the airline seat.

This is the most comprehensive travel backpack Ive ever seen, and Im in love! This backpack (which is an inadequate name for this work of art) is so well thought out and versatile that Im buying a second one as soon as I write this review! This bag arrived in its smallest form, utilizing the clips on the sides to keep it compact (which is perfect for storing between uses). Once unclipped, it expands to be a large bag that can be carried with top handles, side handles, or the stowed away backpack straps. So many ways to use this bag! The pockets are well designed, the main compartment unzips flat like a suitcase, and all of the components are very high quality. Did I mention that it includes coordinating packing cubes? This is a stellar item, and I think its the perfect carry on bag. Highly, highly recommend this!

I dont know and maybe it was my fault but I didnt have backpack straps. I need to look but this is a great back either way. Easy to carry and lots fit in it. I really like this bag but I need to find my straps as it would have helped in airport.

Easy to pack, carry and holds a lot

This backpack is ideal for frequent travelers, because it seems like it holds a lot, but it’s compact and would make a great carryon. Cool features: lots of padding on your back, convertible between a backpack and a soft-sided suitcase. The inside main area has the criss-cross elastic like a regular suitcase, but there’s also a space for your laptop and lots of little pockets and pouches for everything you need to pack. The fabric seems relatively water resistant: we ran water over it, and the inside did not get wet. The outside was just damp-feeling. So, it would probably hold up well in the rain, which is a great plus.

We think this might just be an ideal combination of laptop case, personal electronics carry-on bag, and backpack for adventure travel. The Powaiter laptop carry on backpack has all the features we need with padded compartments for computers and iPads, room for chargers and cables, some clothing and dopp kit, water bottle, an extra pair of shoes. Excellent material, good stitching, quality zippers, lots of pockets and very comfortable straps -- well designed and engineered. We dont like to overload ours and make it too heavy, but this one can expand to accommodate quite a good sized load when necessary. It fits in the overhead easily, but we often keep it under the seat to be handy with personal items and to access the included USB charging port. Very clever. The little metal ring luggage tag pulls out to reveal personal contact information in the event of loss, without exposing those details in general; a nice feature. This laptop carry on backpack is made to last. Bravo.

I’m a big fan of this pack. It’s a go anywhere, do anything sort of bag. The included packing cubes are great for keeping all of my clothes or items separated and theyre also great for keeping my clothes from popping out of the bag as much when i over-fill it. The bag itself is nice and sturdy, it’s made of a solid nylon-ish material that looks like it can take a beating. It has plenty of accessible pockets, a phone charger (you need your own power supply though) and straps on the sides to tighten your load down. The back and shoulder straps are nice and padded with a chest strap that keeps your back from getting fatigued— and it also works as a strap to attach the bag to your rolling suitcase or a rack or something like that. I really dig the front pocket too, as I’m a bookworm and i dig it when companies add a pocket for books and pens— but that’s just me. The bag is perfectly sized for travel, not too small or large, and it’s not super heavy either. It fits like ANY size laptop or tablet and keeps it nice and safe as well.

This travel backpack will be my future travel bag. I have many travel bags and backpacks. But this one has the most thoughtful designs. Not only because it has many pockets and compartments but also because of the placement of pockets/compartments, the zipper locations, and the size of the pockets/compartments. Like other carry-on bags, it is expandable to accommodate more content. The included 4 packing cubes are versatile, with one for storing shoes. At this price, this a good value buy.
