> 3 dayThis seems to be a well made pack especially for the price. All the pockets you should need. It carries well, and seems to have enough padding. I almost maxed out at tightening the shoulder straps. Im 57. This type of pack is not made for long term back packing. The shoulder straps are a convenience for occasional use. It can expanded to a bit over the allowable size.

> 3 dayIts got tons of room in it. Perfect for someone like me who packs light. I could easily take this for a weekend retreat and not need to bring a carry-on. Lots of compartments for storing your different things. The back straps can be hidden away so this can be used more like a carry-on bag too. It even has a strap on the side for a water bottle, so would work well for a student (I know I loved bringing my water bottle around campus).

> 3 dayThis makes a great backpack if you frequently take weekend trips to visit friends or family or if your job revolves around taking several short 2-3 day trips each year. It works great as the companion to roller luggage so you can have everything together in 1 unit for your trips. The bag has nice features like the expansion that gives it a couple more inches in width. The design of the bag is practical and functional in that its square which matches how most regular roller luggage is designed. That way, it can fit laptops, books, shoe boxes, notebooks, and boxes that are also generally square. The packing cubes are a nice bonus so you can organize everything easier in this bag or even a separate luggage carrier. The way they designed the luggage strap is also great in that you can hide the shoulder straps when using it on top of roller luggage. Overall, its a solid backpack that should last long as long as you dont let it get checked-in at the airport or overload it with heavy items frequently during travel.

> 3 dayI’ll have to admit the cubes for luggage are more of a useful feature that I may rarely use, with laptops shifting to 16 inches there isn’t many options when you need a multipurpose backpack. Travel cubes are carefully designed to optimize your bag to keep it more balanced compared to just throwing clothes into it. What I really love about this bag is the pockets are well constructed, there isn’t any weird pocket sag when you put a 150W laptop power adapter into it and the bag itself works amazingly well. Build quality of the bag could of used some extra support for the straps for extra durability, however I’m likely in the smaller customer base who uses desktop replacement grade laptops. Overall this meets my requirements for a travel backpack, it handles a desktop replacement laptop perfectly and you can still squeeze in a 13 inch laptop with a sleeve with your clothes when you need to isolate your work vs personal gear while traveling.

> 3 dayI often travel with just a backpack because I dont like the pain of pulling a roller bag around and stressing about having enough room on an airplane to stow it. Up to this point Ive never been happy with the options Ive tried, including some expensive ones from eBags. It does come folded in half and really squished so I stuffed it with a couple pillows for a week to get it to form back to its true shape before I used it. Here is what I like about this bag: #1 It is rectangular like a suitcase so you can really fit a lot of stuff into it. #2 the packing cubes are huge and can take up almost the entire clothing compartment, thats actually nice because I always find that the cubes are more trouble than they are worth because they leave wasted space that you try to stuff full with socks and other extra clothes. #3 the zippers work really well and I like that they dont have hard metal pulls on them. I found with other bags that these can get caught up and break off. For travel bags, stiff cloth pulls are the way to go. #4 the cary handles are actually handles and not little straps that you cant use. #5 the water bottle carrier is just big enough to fit a 24oz hydroflask without the rubber thingy on the bottom. And the strap above it is in the perfect place to clip through the handle on the lid (which is important if youve ever had one of these slide out as you are putting a bag into the overhead and almost hurt someone). If you carry a big water bottle like a Nalgene, it will NOT fit in the pocket. #6 the bottom of the back of the bag bulges out slightly to fit into the small of your back so even without a waist strap it puts some of the load on your waist vs your shoulders. For anyone who regularly carries a backpack you know how important this is. Here is what I dont like: #1 The backpack straps are not as comfortable as they could be. I think they anchor too far apart to the bag so it sits further on the outside of your shoulders. With the sternum strap this fixes it a bit but without it you can get sore shoulders fast. Ive used other bags that when loaded up are fine without the sternum strap. That being said I am fairly slender by todays standards at 60 & 170lbs, if you are heavier and have a wider neck/shoulders this may not be as big of a deal for you. #2 The metal name/address tag I really dont care for, Ive had it get caught up trying to get the bag out of the trunk or under a seat and Im about ready to cut it off. It would be so much nicer if it was a stiff fabric with a little fabric tab that stuck out of the bag so you can pull it out and read it. This is not a game changer, you can decide when you get the bag if you like it or not, it will take about 5 seconds to cut it off but it is permanent, there will be no way to reattach it. #3 Im neutral on the charging cord, I dont use it and wish the bag didnt have it but its not in the way of anything so I dont really care. Overall it is my new favorite, if the size is what you need I would totally recommend it.

> 3 dayThe manufacturer thought of everything with this bag. I really like it. It has so many pockets that you will probably forget what all you packed in it. The material is not the thickest, but it is not as thin as all the others at this price point. This bag has features that let you know they did actual field testing or used real travelers. First, it has all of the cubes so that you can organize different items into separate compartments. You can expand the bag to a larger size. You have 4 buckle straps to help keep the bag secure. The pull-out name tag is a cool bonus. The ability to store the shoulder straps when you dont need them is genius. The strap on the back to attach it to your other luggage, fantastic. I could easily pack this bag for a 4–5-day trip and not have to deal with the crazy airline baggage check process. Hope that helps you today.

> 3 dayThis travel backpack was much better than I thought it would be. When I take weekend trips, I usually just throw everything in a regular backpack which can be a hassle when trying to get everything to fit and find the things you need later. This bag changes all that and makes it so much more convenient to take short trips. The bag itself feels very well made and durable. The main compartment opens sideways like a suitcase so you can easily access everything and expands if needed. It even has separate, removable bags that can store even more. The other pockets are spacious and have spots to put a laptop and anything else you need. The external charger is a nice addition, as well as the small security pocket against the back of the bag. Overall, I am very impressed with this travel backpack and will only be using this one from now on.

> 3 dayThis backpack is really well thought out. Not only can you carry your (larger) laptop computer, theres tons of room in the main compartment for several days worth of clothes. Bonus are the 3 cubes (which I have fallen in love with already for my other suitcases) and shoe bag and the external power outlet for your backup battery. I really appreciate that the shoulder straps are stored away when not in use and the backpack folds up so it takes up less space when stored. This is my 3rd backpack carry on and Id say its the best designed so far. Would purchase again.

> 3 dayThis is an incredible piece of luggage engineering!!! I have never seen such an efficient backpack in my life! It works as a backpack, a suitcase, laptop carrying case, and a toiletry bag, all-in-one and for a very reasonable price! I counted 9 zippered compartments, plus two open pockets, and a water bottle holder. Plus the bag can be expanded to be made larger. The toiletry side of the backpack has a mesh zippered compartment and a clear vinyl compartment. The laptop pocket is nice and roomy and easily accommodates my 15 inch laptop. There are three packing cubes and one cinch strap bag for a pair of shoes or other items you want to keep separate from other things you keep in the bag. It also has a pull out ID badge on the exterior of the backpack which you pull out with the metal circle diadem on the exterior of the backpack. If all that wasnt enough, you also have a USB charging port on the exterior of the bag to plug your phone or other electronic gadget into for power. Note that it doesnt come with a battery pack, which you supply yourself. There is a zippered compartment to place your battery pack into the backpack. The USB connectors are standard USB ports, so youll need an adaptor if you charging chord for your device uses USB type C connections on both end of your charging chord. This really is an all-in-one bag and could be used to pack everything for a night or two away from home. Otherwise using this as your auxiliary bag for a flight will allow you to take a lot more items with you along with your standard carry-on luggage. This backpack even has a an exterior belt for sliding over the pull handle of your wheeled luggage if you dont want to carry it on your back. The designers really thought of everything here, and the price is outstanding for everything this bag can do! This would make an excellent gift for a graduate student or someone who is always on the go.
