I bought 2 of these 6 months ago. Had my phone charger and lamp plugged into it and it started making popping noises. When I looked at the outlet there were sparks. Unplugged everything immediately and luckily it didn’t burn my house down.

This is an excellent extension cords that has many features all packed into one compact design. It has a flat plug that is angled so it can be used behind a tight space and in most cases will not interfere with a plug below it. It has an overload protection which is not common for a typical extension cord. The best feature in my opinion is the multiple USB ports (1 USB-C port and 2 USB-A ports). Because of this unique and helpful feature, we decided this is the perfect choice for our guest bedroom. We placed the plug in a receptacle where it can be accessed and used by anyone who stays in our guest room. They now have an extension cord with multiple plugs and it serves as a place to charge their devices also. This is not just an extension cord it is an excellent multi-use power strip

Great product. Very versatile!

I love this because there are so many options and directions to plug things in. I continue to change all our extension cords in our house and home office to these because of the charger ports. They just make it so much more convenient.

I bought this for my sons bedroom but I love it so I kept it. It can be mounted to anything. It’s a perfect size, not bulky at all. It’s small enough to bring on your travels. The cord is braided so it packs up nicely & it makes it more versatile. I highly recommend

I have this plugged in by my bed to connect my lamp, alarm clock, phone charger, and Google mesh wifi hub. Luckily I was still awake, but I heard a loud noise coming from the wifi hub, started to smell smoke, and saw smoke coming out of the surge protector. Luckily I was still awake and right next to the outlet when this happened to unplug everything in the moment before anything sparks or flames, but very scary to know this could have happened while I was not there to prevent it. It appears to have come from having my phone plugged in to the usb-c port, as this part of the surge protector was very hot.
