Son uses thus at his desk for his gaming. Has a nice long cord which is wonderful as he only has 1 outlet in his room!. Doesnt have a issue with getting hot and works as described.

This extension cord is excellent for use in a situation where multiple power transformers are needed. Most power strips orient the plugs in a way as to prevent side by side use but this one lets you put adapters on the side while still allowing regulars access to the top, USB A and C jacks add versatility. An illuminated switch is a nice feature as well. My only complaint is not having a two way mounting slot in the back for vertical mounting. Other than that, this is a well built and good looking extension cord.

Added extension when charging on the sofa.

I bought it with idea to run it under sofa that is setup against the wall. The idea was to have phone charging can be done from front of the sofa. However, it is too thick to go under sofa - just in case it matters to anyone. I tried it too late to return
