I needed a USB hub for my computer and this one works perfectly. It is a very nice looking product made out of good materials. It has 7 USB SLOTS!!!! Plenty for me. 0 Issues with it and I love it.

I am very happy with this USB hub. It does work as a high speed USB hub and charger and comes with a power brick to provide the requisite power. You do need to the button to toggle each USB location off and on. Great to save power or to turn off something you dont want on all the time. It is a quality USB device and works as advertised. I am using this with my new gaming laptop which is a bit light in having adequate numbers of USB3.0 ports, hence the need for this hub.

Very good product. Works as described. Good strips on the bottom that prevent slippage.

MODIFIED REVIEW I liked it so I ordered another one. The second one had two switches that were defective in that you had to really mash down hard (almost punch them down) in order to get them to stay in the ON position; they toggled OFF normally however. That goes to lack of quality control at assembly and test. I could have returned it, but it was just not worth my time and I can mash the two ON/OFF switches as needed. If mashing them down was not a useful workaround the defect, then yes, back it would be going. Otherwise, it performed normally. Consequently I downrated it one star from five to four. ORIGINAL REVIEW I chose this product because I specifically wanted a vertical placement of the drives into the hub and the charging feature was an added benefit. The individual ON/OFF port switches are very handy for me; however the port LEDs are a bit anemic and with the placement on my desk, the task lighting makes the LEDs almost invisible. As an aside, I cant see the LEDs because I have positioned the hub with the charging port facing me, so even if the LEDs were acceptably bright, I would not be able to see them anyway. If I suspect a power problem to a port, I can just flip the hub sideways and look at the LED if need be. It is not an issue for me. I am using the hub on my XPS 8940 WIN-10 PC with no functional issues. It seems to perform as advertised; the price is very reasonable and hence the five stars.

The laptop Im using this hub with only has two built-in USB ports which is not enough when participating in remote mentoring for a local FIRST Tech Challenge team. By adding this hub, my workflow was significantly improved as things like the external microphone and webcam can be plugged in permanently then enabled & disabled as necessary. The hub itself seems well built. The metal case adds a little more weight than a plastic enclosure of the same type which (for me) is a good thing. The hub remains stable where others might get tipped on their side by the tension applied by the cables. The lights showing which ports are active are well placed and clearly indicate active data thereby reducing the risk of accidentally unplugging an in-use device. Overall, I am quite happy with this hub and would definitely consider buying others for use elsewhere. That said, it may not be the best choice if working in a location where power sockets are limited.

It does what it says on the box. It works fine.

I use a lot of my USB ports on my PC and wanted to free up a couple of slots. Although I do get a couple of glitches here and there from my computer reading all the ports at once, I just turn a few of the ports Im not using off before turning it my PC on and the issue fixes itself. Other than this Ive had no problems using this USB hub and I love it!!!

This is the best USB powered Hub Ive ever had, you can select which Port you want to be powered, it is sturdy the cords are sturdy, I use it for my professional job, it is great, I would buy more if I needed them.
