Update- unit overheats and won’t work. Been several months with no reply for repair or replacement. Very easy to install and work. The entire unit is solid and will last a very long time. I like having the switches on the unit and the dedicated power port! You will be very happy with this usb hub!

Many times I confronted with a USB-A connection. Or on my MacBook Air and IPad, I have one USB-C for power, one for connections. 6 Extra ports helps a lot.
