> 24 hourUsing this with a half dozen RTL SDRs and its working fantastic. I get great bandwidth for my SDRs over the USB hub and into the PC, zero issues this far. Very satisfied with the performance, form factor and features of this hub. I had tried this setup with a previous USB 3 hub and it just couldnt handle the bandwidth but this one has no problems whatsoever. Its fast and very well made.

> 24 hourThis hub will allow me to connect 7 more USB drives to a computer running Ubuntu Desktop 22.04. Ive connected three to it for now, all NVMes in USB enclosures, running in a software RAID0 configuration. The package comes with a data cable with both USB-C/A, which turned out to be very handy as this computer had already run out of USB-A ports, but still had a USB-C available.

> 24 hourOne of the questions on the page in order to write this review was to give it between 1 and 5 stars for charging power. To be honest I have not used it for charging anything, I have only used it for data transfer on my computer. I do have the power adapter plugged in, so I would assume the charging power would be good, but I used the power adapter because I am at times running a hard drive docking station which needs more power than what runs thru the normal cable. Data transfer is good, it is not the weakest link in my chain so it doesnt slow me down any. I wish my computer/motherboard was faster than it is, but without spending hundreds of dollars I am happy with 3.0 speeds. They have come out with USB 3.1 in versions 1 and 2, they also have USB 3.2 in versions 1 and 2. Then you can get into USBC and Thunderbolt connections for potentially faster speeds. Im more than happy with the speed this USB 3.0 gives me.

> 24 hourUsing this device for about 2 weeks, I have been used all 7 ports occasionally and none have failed. I have seen no slow down, and no overheating. This device seems to be working well with no issues I really love the USB-A to USB-C Adapter that I never have to look for or lose. I have been getting on average 170+ transfer speeds is awesome! Being able to toggle on and off each USB port individually is big positive and knowing that they are on and off (with the light) is great. This charged my Ipad and Laptop simultaneously (though admittedly, not quite as fast as original power supplies). I love this device is very compact and powerful and looks pretty cool with my setup. 7 USB ports is perfect for my setup. I recommend this device for anyone that needs a quality hub with many ports, super fast speeds, Needs USB-A or USB-C, dependable (RSHTECH devices work, I have a few and none have failed yet), are affordable and look great.

> 24 hourThis USB hub functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. It has the capability to hard disconnect external hard drives, microphones, cameras, printers, etc with the press of a button. The buttons are soft touch and have a blue LED turning on or off to show which ports are active. Its a great hub. It is optionally powered and it transfers data fast. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports. I am replacing my old USB hub TENDAK USB 3.0 which is not working any more. Very compact given the number of ports on it. This hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well and still offers great bandwidth. The body of the hub is made of aluminum. The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. Its rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. With it being both USB A and USB C, this lets me use it on both my home PC and my work laptop which is type c mainly. Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty. I have used other products from RSHTECH and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products. Cons: I personally dont have any. Im quite happy with it.

> 24 hourIf I had my druthers, I would always work on a mini-tower computer with large screens. Its my preference. A full sized mechanical keyboard and a high definition mouse. And I like my toys/tools. My USB drives, external Hard drives and external SSDs for portable storage. Add the webcam, a necessity today and label printers for convenience. What do these all have in common? USB ports. So I like to have a USB switch (or hub) on the desktop. Easily accessible and convenient. But what most of those devices also have in common is that they draw their power from the USB port theyre plug into. So I like my USB switch to have its own power supply. My last USB switch was several years old and it died (No funeral it wanted to be recycled.) I saw this on Amazon and it was the perfect replacement. 7 ports, each can be switched on or off and a 3A power supply. More than enough to power my USB devices that dont have their own power. It has a simple clean layout and its ports are all USB 3.0. A note, if you get one be sure to plug it into a USB 3.0 port on your computer (The USB port should be blue.) If you plug it into a USB 2.0 port (Black port) then the speed of this switch or any faster switch will be limited the the speed of USB 2.0. I know thats an obvious thing but it never hurts to be reminded. The switch takes no time to install, needs no drivers only an available USB 3.0 or better port on your computer and an electric outlet. The computer will recognize it automatically.

> 24 hourThis does everything they claim. The only nitpicks I have are 1) the name of the company could be smaller and on the bottom. 2) the connector piece of the adapter is hard plastic. If youre using the adapter and the port next to it is being used, it will put some pressure on it. Of course, most likely, you can plug whatever is next to it into this hub, but if youre using all of the ports on your computer, its something to keep in mind. Will update review if anything changes.

> 24 hourThis is a solid powered hub for situations where you need 7 USB 3.0 ports. In my case it Im using it with a number of external drives, consolidating storage and building backups. For this task it works marvelously and Im able to get close to maximum rated speeds out of my USB 2.x and USB 3.0 drives. Good product.
