> 3 dayFirst, this USB hub looks nice sitting on my desk. It has no overly flashy branding and the gloss black upper section is a fine complement to the matte black lower section. But besides looking nice it functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. But what I needed it for was the ability to hard disconnect hard drives, microphones, cameras, and so on with the press of a button. All those things vampire power while they are plugged in, but not when they are hard disconnected and this hub makes that easy to do. The buttons are soft touch in that they give no feedback when pressed other than the very bright blue LED turning on or off. Which suits me because tactile feedback clicks are not something every device needs anyway. The hub is optionally powered by a wall wart so that more power hungry devices can be used with it, but if you have any concerns about power, be sure to unplug it when you dont need it. Its idle current draw is not very much, but when you add together all the idle current draw sources in your home, it can be a surprising amount added to your power bill each month. Its a great hub. It looks great, it is optionally powered, it transfers data fast, and it allows hard disconnects of devices with the touch of a button. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports.

> 3 dayI am using this with my Dell laptop as it only has 2 USB ports but I have so much to plug in as far as mouse, keyboard, camera, speakers, microphone, printer, charging stand for phone and cooling fan/dock for laptop. This allows me to plug all those devices in without issue. Love the ability to turn them off and on with the push of a button if needed, say for example you JUST want to be extra cautious with your webcam and want to make sure no one can turn it on remotely? Press the button on the hub to turn power off to that device! LOVE it! Hub is compact and great design. Small power brick when is great. LOVE that you can plug it into your device using USB-3 OR USB-C! Thank you for this!

> 3 dayOverall Upgraded USB hub works well as described in the product description. It has 7 usb ports and one Type C/USB extension to connect to Laptop & Power adaptor. Successfully able to charge mobiles, fitbits and portable chargers. data transfer from pendrive and SSD portable drive also tested. couldnt find any issues in data transfer. All 7 USB ports has on/off buttons next to it, which helps in saving power and also to eject drives safely. I was already using RSHTECH 4 port usb hub. compared to that upgraded version has more ports, Type C extension and little extra speed in data transfer.

> 3 dayAs I get more and more rechargeable gadgets into the house I need more and more ports to charge them in. Enter this hub! 7 ports to charge everything and it looks so great next to the computer. You can either plug it in with a usb or into a wall socket which I chose to do. This will save me lots of time looking for ports.

> 3 dayThe Powered USB Hub ABC is a great gadget for those with multiple electronic devices. It provides ample ports to charge and connect different devices at once, making it convenient and efficient. However, I have noticed that if I leave it plugged in for an extended period of time, it tends to stop working and requires me to unplug it and plug it back in. Its a minor inconvenience, but its something to keep in mind. Overall, I think its a useful gadget to have on hand.

> 3 dayThis powered USB HUB worked exactly as expected providing 7 USB 3.0 ports for my computer setup. Everything worked smoothly. My mouse (USB dongle) never skipped at all as with some other USB Hubs. The USB Flash drive Read/Write speeds were as fast as the drive could keep up. Another nice/unique feature was the seven Blue power On LEDs also flashed to indicate on going activities. Lastly, the aluminum housing felt solid and looked premium.

Greater than one weekThis is a solid, very fast USB hub that boasts USB-C speeds (I transferred a 1GB file in ~10secs) and has the convenience of having a built in usb-C to usb-A cord. It is powerful enough to charge my ipad (albeit slower than a direct ipad charger as youd expect). Each USB port has its own switch and LED light; the light blinks when data is being accessed which many may find useful to ensure no data is being transferred when unplugging a device; for me the flashing blue light was obnoxious as I had my mouse and keyboards plugged in so were constantly blinking. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone with need of multiple USB ports. Again, the built in usb-c to usb-a 3.0 is super helpful. (note there is no SD card reader, attached photo is for size comparison).

> 3 dayVery pleased with this solidly built product. Plenty of power to run keyboards, webcams, speakers, LED videoconference lights, and charge phones. Delivers 5 Gbps USB 3.0 SuperSpeed to devices that support it, great for flash and disk drives. Attached devices are enabled/disabled via the switches next to each port. Handy with noisy devices that youd want to leave off when not in use.

04-06-2025I have had a 7 port powered USB Hub for several years. It works fine, but was missing a feature, is quite large, and was designed to be used in a different orientation than what I need, so I have been looking for another option. One other issue I have with my old hub is the very bright LED lights it has. This hub pretty much solves all of the issues I had with the old one and with another hub I ordered that had a somewhat flimsy shell. First, the hub has an aluminum frame (I think the front and rear are plastic, but the sides are a single piece of aluminum. Second, it has button switches for each port, so you can turn off the ports you are not using. Third, it is much smaller than my old hub, only 5 inches long, about 1 1/2 inches wides, and less than 1 inch thick. Finally it has pipoint LED lights which are illuminated when you have a port energized, but they dont overwhelm you. The hub comes with a 5 Vdc power supply that includes a 48 inch cable and a USB 3.0 Type B to USB C with attached USB A cable that is 42 inches long. The only real issue I have the the hub is that USB 3.0 Type B connector, it would have been better had it been a USB C connector, but it does work. Most devices (printers, scanners, etc.) cant really use anything faster than USB 3.0 speeds (if they are not even more limited,) so this hub will do the job and if you are connecting it to a KVM/USB 3.0 switch like I am, it will work well since the devices that are USB powered remain on when switching between computers. I think this switch is a winner.
