Premium Silicone Under Sink Mat (Taupe, 31x22 (for 33 Kitchen Base Cabinets))

The surface is smooth so it’s very easy to clean.

This is my second purchase of this mat. The first was for a home we owned two years ago, and the second is for the rental we are currently staying in while we look for a new home. In both cases, the plumbing under the kitchen sink initially had some kinks and would occasionally start leaking for no apparent reason. The leaks were not major, just enough to build up over a day or so and get everything wet. And the worst part is that most cabinets are made with particle board bottoms these days, so the water causes the surface to swell and stain if you dont notice it soon enough. This sink cabinet liner is a life saver. It holds a deceptively significant amount of water, giving us time to notice and fix the leak, get the water cleaned up, and save the bottom of the cabinet from getting moisture damage. I tried a different brand of liner for a house we fixed up and flipped, and for the price it just wasnt the same quality, didnt lay flat, had a seam in it, not nearly as nice as this one.

It takes a special adhesive to glue silicone to silicone. 100% silicone caulking will not stick to silicone sheet. Amazon sells a special adhesive, but very expensive. My solution was to slit the silicone around the clean out fitting and fold up the edges. I then cut a plastic jar in half and placed over fitting. Any drips from above will be contained. The total volume of the mat will hold over 2 gallons, but must remember that if there are many containers on the mat the volume of water will be greatly reduced. If I had just a copper pipe in the middle I would make a much smaller hole and then slit the mat placing something under the slit to elevate that area and also place something on top of the slit.

I love this sink cabinet liner. I remodeled my kitchen and did not want the base of the cabinet looking like the previous one that had stains, etc. This fits perfect and protects it from stains, as well as the amount of water it will hold should a leak spring. I ordered a size down because I installed a farm sink and have 2X4s installed on the sides to support the sink and didnt want to have to modify it once received. It still covers almost the entire bottom.

Sized perfectly for my sink cabinet. It goes unnoticed. I pretty sure its going to protect my cabinet should I have a leak. Hopefully, I never find out.

Am very happy with this under sink liner. Decided to try first in kitchen and now plan on getting one for bathrooms and laundry room. It not only looks good, is easy to clean and protects the cabinet floor.

Great quality. Just as described. Just make sure you measure the space correctly and that there are no pipes or obstacles.

Throughout the past 30 years I have had water leaks under the kitchen sink due to my R.O. system. I was researching mats for my new remodeled kitchen to protect from future leaks. I decided to chose this brand and I love it. It looks very sturdy and yet flexible, and will supposedly hold 2 gallons of water. When my plumber came to put all my plumping back together under the sink, he ask me where I found this. He really liked it and said it was such a good idea. He actually took a photo of it for himself. I am very pleased with my Basin mat. Of course, I still need to keep an eye on leaks, but this will definitely give me time to see a leak and save me from water damaged cabinets. Thank you! Note: I really researched which mat I wanted. I accidentally ordered the wrong basin mat from another store. When it arrived, I said No! I ordered the wrong one! I returned that one and ordered this basin mat, and this accidental ordering helped me see the difference in the quality.

Saved my kitchen when drain pipe came loose. Heard so turn water off but was full so very luck had.

This mat did just what I needed it to do. I discovered a tiny leak under the sink which had discolored the wooden cabinet floor. The new silicone mat fits perfectly, has brightened up the space, covered the discoloration, and will prevent any further damage to the wood, should the plumbing ever leak again. A perfect product!
