Presa Heavy Duty 4-Inch Metal Peg Board Shelving Hooks, 25-Pack

The 4 inch pegs I received are smaller than the typical 1/4 pegs. Typical is .2.03, these are .187. They will not fit as snugly as others. That said,... overall the pegs are fine for general purpose use and are better than 1/8. If you require a snug fit, these are not the ones to buy. If you just need a sturdier peg than 1/8 they will work. All the pegs I received were properly straight and square.

I bought these hoping to hang small tools, paintbrushes and the like on them. These hooks are made from full 1/4 wire and fit snugly into a pegboard with 1/4 holes. Their major drawback is that there is a ball welded to the end of the hook which is larger that the hook wire itself, and that ball makes hanging things like paint brushes and small tools difficult as ofter the holes in the handles are 1/4 or smaller. Ive fixed a couple of these hooks by grinding off the tips, so that 1/4 holes will fit onto them. Otherwise these hooks are sturdy and well made, hence four instead of 5 stars.

Strong pegs that are appropriately described and fit into the pegboard as expected. They hold several pounds of gear without bending though they do slope downward at the front, which is intended by their design. Overall no complaints

Turns out that the best stuff is hard to find in the big box stores. These Presa hooks are far superior to any others I have found.

Those negative reviews did not do justice to this product and I am glad that I ignored them. These just work out great and they are very solid. I will buy again if I need more.
