> 24 hourI use a lot of quality pegboard in my shop and in my house... you could say that I’m an “enthusiast”; I was looking for something better than the typical consumer grade ~1/8”. So when I would see “works with 1/4” and 1/8”” I automatically knew it was not what I was looking for. While these have some inconsistencies, I do like them much more than the fun-pack assortments you can get. And although inconsistent, it’s nothing I can’t correct by hand. Consiquently, anyone who is disappointed by the quality or consistent-inconsistencies of something that is mass-produced like this needs to rethink their pegboard experience and continue to hang things from framing nails... I mean... it’s a garage, right? A sample of 10 measure .203 +/- .003”D I’m going to plastic dip mine to make them a snugger fit. Plus it looks pretty rad and helps hide defects. Something else you can do to ensure hooks stay put is use mechanics lock wire on the back side; this is typically needed for smaller diameter or single hole mounted hook applications. ; )

> 24 hourThe peg was too big for the holes on my peg board.

> 24 hourThese hangers worked perfectly for me. I used them on my (very) old peg board, so old that the 1/4 inch holes are quite fuzzy from use and from moisture absorption. I have hung the rest of the tools as I have wanted for quite some time--drills, screw gun, hand planes, etc. That said, I should point out that these pegs measure 3/16 diameter, not 1/4. That actually made it easier for me as I didnt have to tap them home with a hammer, yet they hold in place when I remove the tools. I might have knocked off a star for their indication of 1/4 except that, in the end, they work fine for me! I will also point out that the support prong is not perpendicular to the peg board, but sits at about 85 degrees upward. Again, that worked perfectly for me, but if one wanted to use them for a shelf support, for example, it would be disappointing.
