> 3 dayEasy to install with a very low SWR that doesnt require a lot of work to get low. Its 1.1 for me out of the box and placed in the center of my Toyota Sienna van. Great reception on the President Randy! I hear stations from hundreds of miles away on the DX but Im still in the mud to anyone beyond 5 miles line of sight or so. Recommend using an RM KL203P amp and the President McKinley with this antenna to get out a little better. Great starter antenna for people who dont really want to be adjusting for SWR all the time. About as plug and play as you can get for a magmount.

> 3 dayStrong magnet. Looks like a antenna on a new car. Range isn’t bad for what it is. Swr is exactly what they claim. Very happy with it. If you’re looking for a modern looking antenna for your car or suv instead of a whip, this will fit the bill.

> 3 dayEasy install, strong magnet, added a coax extension of 10. SWR is 1.4 on 1 and 40. Picks up 3 to 7 miles on highway based on terrain. Picks up skip, works well

> 3 dayThe connection cable is too short. If you have a midsize SUV, or plan on running the cable from the trunk you should also get an extension cord.

> 3 dayBought this for my bro-in-law for Christmas 2021. (Too bad that I cant seem to get one for 2022.) It was pretty much plug & play and worked about as well as those old 20 Center-Load CB antennas of over 30 years ago. However, that very light-duty, flimsy, RG-174 coax cable will have to be dealt with sooner, or later. Do not do hard 90 degree bends, if you can help it. Best, to wrap plastic tape where coax comes into rear of PL-259 connector and where the coax comes-in at the base of the magnet mount antenna, as a stress relief. Still, for what it is, from 1 to 10 miles between mobiles, and about 15 miles from base to mobile, isnt too bad at all.

> 3 dayI figured, “60 bucks and it’s a President, has to be good right?” Wrong. It was, so I thought, exactly what I was looking for. Stealth and modern looking. That’s pretty much where it ends. Says it’s pre-tuned for low swrs. Nope 2.3:1 isn’t all that low. Can’t tune it. The coax is the equivalent of 14 gauge wire. The noise floor was 7 pounds on the meter with the car off. Doesn’t fold flat like one review had said, but I expected that. Had I known this is what it was like, I would’ve just bought the Procomm Rubber ducky for 1/3 the price! Shame President, shame! I will be retuning it.

> 3 dayOkay, I suppose it probably doesnt work *exactly* as well as a 108 whip. But this shorty is a range-monster. It works great. I hear everything! And I get excellent reports, even from the (distant) big guns. Amazing!! I dont know how President does it? Excellent!

> 3 dayEvery big Antenna works better then it when tuned. When are the big dogs even turned correctly??? This is just stick on the car. screw the plug into the radio and the SWR is less then 1.3 across the band. Talk 6 miles with 4 watts is doable without going to hell for lying. Can listen to locals without skip over washing them as the big dog, big ears antennas do. It also likes 162 MHz weather stations. Only negative is the 10 year warranty that have to collected in Barcelona, Spain.
