> 3 dayBought this for my bro-in-law for Christmas 2021. (Too bad that I cant seem to get one for 2022.) It was pretty much plug & play and worked about as well as those old 20 Center-Load CB antennas of over 30 years ago. However, that very light-duty, flimsy, RG-174 coax cable will have to be dealt with sooner, or later. Do not do hard 90 degree bends, if you can help it. Best, to wrap plastic tape where coax comes into rear of PL-259 connector and where the coax comes-in at the base of the magnet mount antenna, as a stress relief. Still, for what it is, from 1 to 10 miles between mobiles, and about 15 miles from base to mobile, isnt too bad at all.

Greater than one weekLooks like a standard car antenna on my Honda Fit. If the cable were a foot or so longer it would have gotten 5 stars

> 3 dayWeak receive and transmit compared to Lil Wil Wilson mag mount. May have just got a bad one. Returned for refund. Cost too much for what it is. I wanted it to work because it is really a stealth antenna. Looks factory almost.

> 3 dayI have two issues. The PL259 connector is so cheap, it was hard to get into the radio. It is just flimsy. The rubber boot is too big and falls right off. I had to glue it. The redeeming qualities are, the magnetic is really strong. The coax is thin. That allows me to run it into the vehicle via the hatch and not pinch it. Due to the two issues, I wouldnt buy another one.

> 3 dayThis antenna has a super magnet an works great on the roof of my pickup truck. I park my truck under a carport and height is an issue. I put it on and have left it for about 5 months with no issues. I also purchased it with my President CB radio which extended the warranty of the radio to 5-years. Cant beat that.

> 3 dayOkay, I need something small and adjustable due to garage parking my truck, and wanted to roof mount with a magnetic option. Now... when they said this little ole CB antenna works like a 102 Whip... they werent kidding! Got this for my $400+ Uniden Bearcat Hybrid CB/Scanner and WOW! I get 1.00 SWR and automatic calibration with this thing OUT OF THE BOX! Then on doing some initial listening, Im picking up truckers at the nearest truckstop parking lot which is 36 miles away! RIDICULOUS IONOSPHERIC BOUNCE!!! (RADIO SKIP) Now yesterday (8 Nov 2022), with low rainy cloud cover, FROM CENTRAL MISSOURI, I hear a Trucker coming in Crystal Clear Jack-Jawing from a Walmart Distribution Center Parking Lot. Theres none within reasonable CB distance from my location. He finally put out his location, Riverside/San Bernardino California!!! Roughly 1,600 Miles Away! Not Even Kidding! Although that is an anomaly which Skip is always subject too, getting the local truckers 36 miles out is great! I have yet to assess the transmission distance yet, but just an amazing little CB Antenna, which I can move and store as needed. CABLE LENGTH: The cable was long enough to run from center rear roof, through driver side rear cab vent, along door thresholds under front floormat (cable sheathed) to CB in 2018 Chevy Silverado Z71 Doublecab. Hope this helps!
