This simple tool is excellent for use in oil painting to create distinct sharp edges. The shape of it is very useful for different edge options. Highly recommend! Durable and very easy to clean

Sure its basically just a simple squeegie made of silicone but it can help create great effects and depth in abstract artwork. Cleans easily and feels like it will last. Certainly itll last longer than any brushes and it costs around the same. The Catalyst wedge is flexible like a squeegie but theres also solid plastic and other textured types for different effects. Sure you can find other items to do the same but these are shaped well and are easy to work with.
