> 3 dayI have the version 1 pulleys and they work pretty well (4 Stars). They did have some nuances, but they were no different from anything else on the market. Kiwi has released their Version 2 and it is exactly what I was looking for! The set up is different than the version 1 as they include a mounting ring. Essentially its a ring that you can attach three of the pulleys to and in the center of the ring theres a spot for the fourth pulley that you attach your VR cable to (See photo). This removes the tugging feeling almost entirely. If the version 1 was an 80% on the cord pulling, the version 2 would be a 97%, tugging has been almost completely removed! Everything felt smooth and they pulleys are cleanly designed. These are worth the extra price and I think most purchasers will be happy with this pulley system! Set up was simple and it comes with ceiling hooks or ceiling command strip type sticky mounts. The sticky mounts are STRONG so use caution when removing, as it WILL take some drywall with it if not removed carefully (use a blow dryer).

> 3 dayI love my new PSVR2. Unfortunately my apartment has a small living room and movement is a bit restricted. The coil of cord under foot was irritating and semi dangerous. Not to mention the twisting damage to the cable. These things are awesome! 15-20 minutes of set up and adjustments and I was back to ridding the world of zombies... With nothing (cat excluded) under foot!

> 3 dayI get tangled up in the cord anymore which is a huge plus. But you need to be careful if you physically turn a lot. It will twist the headset cord at the top really badly if you dont keep an eye on it. Also you will need to take the headset off most of the time to properly untwist it which can be a bit inconvenient if your in the middle of something. Also it takes a bit of time to get used to sense it pulls upwards on the headset senses its being suspended above your head. You will also need to spend a bit of time adjusting the cord to make it feel comfortable on your head.

> 3 dayI worried that the adhesive would fail before using the product. But It has held out extremely well. I had to relocate one of the hooks and the adhesive stuck to first wooden brace like a champ and I had to spend a little time removing it without ruining the plastic or pulling the adhesive apart. Putting it in the second location was fine, not brand new levels of sticky but its holding fine for its intended purpose. If I need another one for my second VR headset I would be perfectly fine getting another one.

> 3 dayIf you want to keep wires off of you and out of the way i would recommend picking these up. DO NOTE THE ADHESIVE IS VERY STRONG LIKE PEEL YOUR CEILING OFF IF NOT CAREFUL STRONG! I would recommend finding some other way of hanging these from your ceiling unless you want a more permanent set up. But overall great deal and a fantastic help for cable management with VR.

> 3 dayI bought my son the Valve Index for Christmas, and he purchased these later. I was very impressed with how easy they were to set up. How well they stick to the ceiling and how quiet they are. Well worth the money.

> 3 dayYou get several different options for mounting, including both adhesive and threaded hooks. The tension is perfect for my index, and has given me no issues so far!

> 3 dayI was surprised by how much I like this kit. When properly set up, it suspends the cable out of the way while allowing a large range of movement. You can feel it tugging at you slightly as you get further away from the starting position, but in my opinion it’s much less irritating than dealing with a cable on the floor. In order to keep the installation reversible, I attached the adhesive hook pads to the ceiling using gaff tape instead of the built-in adhesive. It seems to be holding up well, but I do unhook the pulleys when I’m not using my headset so it isn’t under constant load. I’m sure you could assemble something similar piece by piece for a lot less money, but that would take a lot of effort and this is a very convenient, comprehensive package (well, except for the optional gaff tape, haha).

Greater than one weekThe pulleys hold the cabling up for the Valve Index as they should. The pulleys do not have so much tension that they noticeable pull up on your head. If set up correctly the system allows you to move where you need to move without becoming tangled up in the cables or worrying about the cable being crushed by chair wheels if you are seated; by the way I use the same setup for seated, small room play (9x6 or so in size), and just standing - no need to modify the system if you get setup good.
