It’s very well padded, and it doesn’t need straps or other gimmicks to stop the drive from falling out. It’s very securely held. The case is also extremely well-made. I’m very pleased it it.

I’ve actually bought a few of these in different colors to match my drives (as everything I have is color-coded). I know when my drive is in this case it is protected.
