> 24 hourI already had one of these in a slightly different color when I acquired this one. (Theyre identical otherwise.) I acquired this second one because at its price point, and with its feature set, its the best bang for the buck you can get if youre not looking for streaming services licenses and other features I consider clutter and price-raising unnecessary options. Getting a second of something is about the best recommendation I can imagine giving. I really like this projector. My application is somewhat unusual. Im placing six projectors aimed at three connected walls in order to create a very wide panoramic set of images (for model trains). I need sharp, bright, high contrast images, with provisions for zooming in and out and correcting keystone over a fairly broad range both vertically and horizontally. I need the projectors to be well matched in color balance. Each projector will be displaying an eight foot wide, roughly four foot high image and I need to be able to align them seamlessly. I dont need or want Netflix or other licensing built in. I dont even need screen mirroring. Im using a small form factor computer with many HDMI outputs to drive the projectors. Im splitting the audio off the HDMI signal and sending it to a high quality multi-channel audio system. So I havent tested the BT capabilities or the internal speakers. Im sure they work but they dont provide the audio quality I need. Things I like about this projector: __*_ Sharp, bright, good contrast as already mentioned __*_ Fine control over image shape through the various keystone correction controls. For the most part Im mounting the projectors to align mechanically, but if small alignment imperfections show up the detailed control this projector presents to address them is very handy. __*_ Color balance control. This projector supports selection among preset cool, normal and warm lighting AND it lets you tune them yourself. And it supports control over separate R, G and B channels. Those are great features to have in a projector at this price point. __*_ digital zoom from 100% down to 50% in 1% increments. __*_ The projector can be programmed to connect to a specific input on power-up. __*_ full control over focus on the remote, and a detailed focus ring that shows up on the image when you start focusing. Nits: No case and no lens cover. I dont need the case. My Kill-A-Watt says this projector draws effectively zero watts in standby and 87 watts when full up. That means it could easily be driven off a 300 kWh battery generator for a typical two hour movie. Ive attached some pix to show what this projector can do. Dont mind the pair of five foot black snakes in my side yard doing their springtime ritual. The image shows a lot of detail. A similar picture shows the color correction controls you have available. The third and fourth pictures give you a sense of the general range of image controls you have. Its an impressive set in a projector at this ones price point. Bottom line: If you want a projector that has a good projection engine and gives you a wide range of controls over image quality, then this one should make you as happy as it makes me. If youre looking for built in streaming licenses, there are way more expensive options available, many of them with fewer controls over image quality.

> 24 hourThis projector is portable and simple easy to use.The main things abouts this projector it does not have too many buttons to mess with, there are only one power button, one remote control everything. The price seems reasonable compared to other projectors in the same class. I would have no problem recommending this projector.

> 24 hourOK, so I really liked this product and overall functions... lots of little nice things that just worked well... but... First unit I got never could power up. Just flashed the green light once and remained dead. Replacement unit I got worked fine... until I had to move it out because we had guests over. Plug the HDMI back in, and the connector inside the unit becomes loose. No Signal anymore over HDMI. Huh? Ive unplugged and reconnected HDMI cables many times before... never had anything like this happen. Thankfully, I could still return... Very unfortunate... I really did like the overall features of this item, but the build quality from this manufacturer is just too cheap. Sorry. No go. Stay away.

> 24 hourI must confess and give a shout out- I follow the “phantom of Amazon” as he’s practically reviewed every home projector Ive looked at.. Following his detailed pro/cons lists and why- helped make my decision. He’s a person in the business and knows his stuff.. So, when HE named this one/if not the best in tower projectors (in this price point) I took his advice and I’m thrilled I did!! As one with zero tech skills- I needed that “guru advice” on a subject I didn’t understand. Along with a few “how to” videos for confidence (I suggest doing this prior to use if unsure on using- it lends so much in the way of confidence!) Im thrilled that one’s advice sent me to the “tower style..” If I set on nightstand or TV tray- it’s truly a perfect height for the screen or mid section of a wall to give you an idea. What I found myself: Its vital to get projector with auto focus BUT, also have ability to fine tune the focus by hand- it gets your picture SO crystal clear. And bc furniture is on carpet- a stabilizer lets you even it up (we had x1 side off from edge of screen every time.. ugh!) We havent used outside yet- but on grass etc.. a stabilizer will be a necessity!! Hack 1: Read instructions- SAVE THEM SAFELY IN PLASTIC SLEEVE/BAG! double side tape sleeve inside box or projector case (must buy separately!) keeps info. safe and easy to locate always! Hack 1A: using an insulated lunch pack can double as carry case and may even save you $. Hack 2: depending on where using.. who knows how close to power source you’ll be. *Keep extension cord w/ projector. Doing so will avoid disappointment or obstacle as one goes to use!! Blue tooth is the bomb!! If turned on- it will try to auto sync by sending an invitation to device.. if you follow the prompts, it holds your hand thru all the steps to connect! Funny to see ME type all this..but, trust me- if I can navigate process you can x1000!!! Note: we didn’t need an extra speaker.. x5 of us could hear just fine from the projector alone.. sound is heard on all sides- NICE!! *My son played PS4 games using projector and I actually had to tell him to turn down volume!! Projector was causing too much ruckus- ha.. that’s always a good sign! So grateful this is user-friendly and end results surpassed all expectations. I so recommend getting a specified bag/backpack to transport and store the projector in.. it protects your investment and keeps it contained! Hoping info can help decision making in a layman sort of way! sorry so long-winded.. stay safe everyone.

> 24 hourPros: Native 1080P FHD 4K Bluetooth Supports up to 120” Display Enhanced Brightness WiFi 2.4 & 5GHz Support Built-In Dual Speakers Multimedia Compatible Screen Sync & Mirroring Capability Smart Focus 50% Offset Dust-Free Design WiFi Casting 100,000 Hour Lamp Life Contrast Ratio: 10000:1 Compact Warranty Cons: Low Light Required 3D Not Supported Not For Use With Office Presentations Not Rechargeable Lumen Output: 300 ANSI No SD Card Port No Storage Case What I received in the package: 1 x VIMGO Smart Projector 1 x Power Adapter 1 x Remote Control 1 x User Manual This VIMGO Smart Projector product is not a bad little unit. I have setup a nice little garage playroom for my grandchildren for when they come over. I have three swing areas for swings, hammocks or hammock chairs to get out some energy or to just relax. I had a small TV mounted on a wall but wanted a more immersive experience that they could really enjoy. So I setup a white screen on the back side of the garage door. Which gives them about a 102” x 62” viewing area @ about 96” from the white screen. Which is plenty large enough for them to really enjoy anything they want to watch. Video. The image resolution of Native 1080P FHD. Of course, that depends on your video, your focus & what you are rendering the projection on. The projector has a contrast ratio of 10000:1 @ 300 ANSI Lumens. Which means it is relatively sharp but does not put out a lot of light so it is most effective in optimal positioning and low light (dark) situations. I wish my white screen was a bit thicker as it tends to show the lines from the garage door as they imprint on the white screen. It’s not bad but I will probably option to either insulate the back of the white screen somehow or buy a thicker white screen. You are able to focus the projection easily with the remote control. This unit took me some time to learn to operate. The instruction is adequate but it just takes some on the job operation to get the hang of how to connect various devices or you various connections. I was able to get all the different types of connections to work. Versatility. This particular unit will not allow you to stream from various paid services due to copyright issues from a smartphone or laptop via casting. You are able to see trailers but once you start a movie, it will freeze and all you will hear is the audio. So you have to have a library or otherwise use services that don’t have that restriction. NOTE: That being said, I did have success streaming using a FireStick or Roku plugged directly into the projector. Sound. The sound quality is not too bad but as it has bluetooth … I prefer to use an external speaker. The onboard 5W speakers a narrow band sound and is not very robust but not terrible either. It does not get very loud and with the projector fan running to cool the lamp … it is not IMO adequate for viewing. They work fine in a pinch or if you don’t have any other option due to your location. Remote and App. The remote is very straight forward. The Focus Buttons are one of the more handy functions of the remote. You can easily achieve precise focus using the remote. It has standard controls that you would expect from a remote. Operation and Experience. The operation of the projector is relatively standard with other projectors of this type. The screen resolution is okay to on par to many other models that I have tried. My other portable projector is rechargeable. While I understand that most projectors don’t have the capability of being rechargeable. With that option, you are able to go out on the trail of go camping and show a movie without being tethered to a location that has power. The Contrast Ratio of 10000:1 is quite good for a projector of this price point. My other projector has a Contrast Ratio of 6000:1 Lumens are low but could be worse. as they get for projectors. What that means is that you have to have a VERY low light area where you are projecting and any light will wash out your projection. The manufacturer offers a 2-Year Warranty on this product. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, this is actually a decent little projector. However, do your research as there are most models out there and pick the one best suited to your needs. While this project offers some nice features, it also is not as robust as I would expect for the asking price. It offers average specs at a median to medium high price point. Hope this information was helpful. [4 Stars]

> 24 hourExcelente dispositivo. La calidad de la imagen comparada con otros de hasta mayor valor es muy superior. Su interfaz gráfica es muy buena y el no tener que usar dispositivos adicionales para conexión de aplicaciones y wifi lo hacen aún más apropiado.

> 24 hourTalk about the ultimate travel projector. I enjoy playing video games wherever I go. Having this projector in my book bag makes trips even more enjoyable in the evening hours. My iPhone connects directly to this and I am able to play games on a large screen compared to my little phone screen. Definitely get one of these if you need a travel projector for gaming. I love that the projector sits upright instead of along the table. I am able to place this in more locations due to the fact its upright. Its smaller than my other projectors which makes packing this up simple. As someone else had stated I wish there was a lens cover and carrying case, but I put this inside a large plastic bag and into my laptop backpack and there has been no issues.

> 24 hourThis is a nice modern and slick looking projector that comes with everything you need for your at home movie night experience. The projector is super bright and the display is high quality. This is a smart projector, which means it comes with pre-loaded apps (Netflix, Peacock, etc.) and runs on Android OS. The build in speakers (which I do not use because I hooked up to a surround sound) are loud and clear with deep bass. You can easily connect the projector to bluetooth to play off your phone, and it comes with a remote too, so you dont have to get up every time to change things (although the remote is flaky sometimes). If I can provide one negative feedback it would be that the projector only has one HDMI input. Assuming I want to use more than one device to project, it would be a burden to have to constantly change it around.

> 24 hourThis projector is an incredible value quality wise for its price ($199 as of this writing). Here are some things I love about it: 1. Super easy to set up - comes with instructions but honestly, you dont really need them. Setup is fairly intuitive and you will be up and running in no time at all. 2. Its got a fairly small footprint which makes it handy to take it with you places 3. Its got excellent picture quality - supports 4K, and the frame rate is excellent as well. 4. Its super easy to use! Seriously the simplest projector I have operated to date. 5. All the popular streaming apps are on here (Hulu, Netflix etc) so you can watch from the projector 6. Supports AirPlay and MiraCast 7. Sound quality is very good using the items native speakers Overall, this is a very solid buy and a great projector if you are in the market to get one that is high end quality but NOT a high end price. I highly recommend it!
