Greater than one weekWas very excited for this projector to replace my old basic one and decided to splurge a little for it. Was very disappointed to see that I received a broken one that has a double shadowing effect (as seen in photo). The sound system was pleasantly good. It could use more bass but it does do surround sound. It’s not really a “smart” projector that can automatically adjust the angle by reading the wall but you can manually adjust it with a variety of options. I reached out to the seller and someone named Judy was very helpful in trying to help me troubleshoot the double shadowing problem. When that didn’t work she said she would just send me a new one and I was super thankful!! BUTTTT it’s been a month now and I haven’t received anything

> 3 dayWe used to have a bigger projector that my family used for movies and games. We either projected them on a wall screen inside for movie night or took it outside and hung the screen on our garage for like a drive in movie night in lawn chairs in the driveway. But that projector just died. It was at least twice this price and sort of clunky and big. This one is so much lighter and smaller and has more features that that one for way less cost. I like that you can add a bluetooth speaker because the internal speakers arent great. The are adequate, but especially outside we felt we needed better sound. I have used it with downloaded mp4 files on a flash drive and it recognizes them right away. I have also used it to hook up a blu-ray player and hooked up a firestick. They all work with zero problems. It is bright enough for daytime use in a slightly darkened room in the day (I didnt try it in bright sunlight) and even better at night. I comes with a remote (you need to add your own 2 AAA batteries). The remote looks very much like a firestick or Roku remote so it is simple to use. I did actually write on the back of my remote with silver sharpie to show it was for since it looks so similar to other remotes! I wish the manufacturers would print the device with remotes so I wouldnt end up confusing them. I mean sometimes you move these things from place to place and may also have other remotes with you and things can get jumbled in tote bags and boxes. So I just use sharpie. I guess a label maybe inside the battery compartment would look nicer, but I didnt think of that until now! lol! Overall it is a great little projector. Nice and portable (though a handle would have been nice!) and works easily even for non-techies like me!

> 3 dayOK, so I really liked this product and overall functions... lots of little nice things that just worked well... but... First unit I got never could power up. Just flashed the green light once and remained dead. Replacement unit I got worked fine... until I had to move it out because we had guests over. Plug the HDMI back in, and the connector inside the unit becomes loose. No Signal anymore over HDMI. Huh? Ive unplugged and reconnected HDMI cables many times before... never had anything like this happen. Thankfully, I could still return... Very unfortunate... I really did like the overall features of this item, but the build quality from this manufacturer is just too cheap. Sorry. No go. Stay away.

> 3 dayProjectors have come a long way in a year! I bought a $270 unit just over a year ago that had far fewer features, and that was an upgrade over the two Id owned before that. This one is sharper than any of the projectors Ive owned, and has great digital focus and adjustments for corners, zoom, vertical and horizontal angles, and automatic keystone (which was the only disappointment-- it didnt get it quite right, but that was fixable with the corners adjustment). You can get Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Paramount+, YouTube, and others right on the device from its App Store. (Some are pre-installed.) I used it both ways-- with the apps right on the projector and with a Firestick. I added a Bluetooth speaker for an outdoor movie night and it worked out great. The remote works well and the interface is fairly intuitive. It was so nice to focus digitally so simply, without playing with dials. Three things I wish this had: a handle!-- thats the most important, because to take it out of the box is difficult without touching the lens and getting a fingerprint on it-- and, as others mentioned, a carrying case and lens cap would be nice. Im storing it in the box for now, and trying to figure out how to add some kind of handle to it. It screws into a tripod, which Im going to buy. Right now I have a projector stand, but because this is vertical, it wasnt very steady on the stand on a titled angle. Wind probably would have knocked it over. Anyway, its a cute little device that packs a punch. Great quality.

> 3 dayI must confess and give a shout out- I follow the “phantom of Amazon” as he’s practically reviewed every home projector Ive looked at.. Following his detailed pro/cons lists and why- helped make my decision. He’s a person in the business and knows his stuff.. So, when HE named this one/if not the best in tower projectors (in this price point) I took his advice and I’m thrilled I did!! As one with zero tech skills- I needed that “guru advice” on a subject I didn’t understand. Along with a few “how to” videos for confidence (I suggest doing this prior to use if unsure on using- it lends so much in the way of confidence!) Im thrilled that one’s advice sent me to the “tower style..” If I set on nightstand or TV tray- it’s truly a perfect height for the screen or mid section of a wall to give you an idea. What I found myself: Its vital to get projector with auto focus BUT, also have ability to fine tune the focus by hand- it gets your picture SO crystal clear. And bc furniture is on carpet- a stabilizer lets you even it up (we had x1 side off from edge of screen every time.. ugh!) We havent used outside yet- but on grass etc.. a stabilizer will be a necessity!! Hack 1: Read instructions- SAVE THEM SAFELY IN PLASTIC SLEEVE/BAG! double side tape sleeve inside box or projector case (must buy separately!) keeps info. safe and easy to locate always! Hack 1A: using an insulated lunch pack can double as carry case and may even save you $. Hack 2: depending on where using.. who knows how close to power source you’ll be. *Keep extension cord w/ projector. Doing so will avoid disappointment or obstacle as one goes to use!! Blue tooth is the bomb!! If turned on- it will try to auto sync by sending an invitation to device.. if you follow the prompts, it holds your hand thru all the steps to connect! Funny to see ME type all this..but, trust me- if I can navigate process you can x1000!!! Note: we didn’t need an extra speaker.. x5 of us could hear just fine from the projector alone.. sound is heard on all sides- NICE!! *My son played PS4 games using projector and I actually had to tell him to turn down volume!! Projector was causing too much ruckus- ha.. that’s always a good sign! So grateful this is user-friendly and end results surpassed all expectations. I so recommend getting a specified bag/backpack to transport and store the projector in.. it protects your investment and keeps it contained! Hoping info can help decision making in a layman sort of way! sorry so long-winded.. stay safe everyone.
