Qty(2) QiMox Hood Lift Supports Shock Struts Compatible with Toyota Avalon 2005-2012

These fit my 2007 Avalon perfectly, and were easy to install. Took about 5 minutes. Cant speak to longevity, but no reason to think these wouldnt hold up well.

These parts worked exactly as expected. Not being 100% sure how to complete the install I checked Google and 10 minutes later I was done.

Not sure why the original Hood Lift Supports Shock Strut went bad. It’s not like I open my hood everyday or every week…. Probably engine heat deteriorated it. This was easy to install. Hood even stayed up with just one installed…. Of course I used both. It opens the hood a little higher than the original so you got more room to work with.

Pros: Good value; easy installation; holds the hood up fine. Cons: Not as smooth as the original Toyota struts in that the hood comes to an abrupt, noisy stop at the full open position. Other: Amazon not accepting video reviews apparently.
