I love these little door silencers! I took 1 star off because I really wish I didn’t have to twist up the straps to make it tighter. If I didn’t, the door latch would still stick out too far & would make noise when opening/closing the door, thus defeating its purpose. Otherwise, these are nice & sturdy as well as nice thick fabric. I foresee them holding up for quite some time.

These are invaluable. We have them on half the doors so our toddler doesn’t wake the baby by slamming doors and it’s magical. They’ve been on for months and no tears, stretching, issues of any kind

Stupid ingenious! Perfect for adult children who swing doors shut.

Pros: - Eliminates need to turn the doorknob in order to close the door (Makes for a quieter closure when leaving & entering our room when baby is sleeping) Cons: - Elastic is too long (Unable to get a tight stretch across the door latch, even when doubling up the elastic on the doorknobs *see photos*. Because of this you can still hear the latch being pushed in when closing the door.) - Fabric material is thickly woven but you can sometimes hear it catching or pulling on the latch so I cant imagine this lasting very long before being shredded

Very efficient door silencer. Just notice you cannot lock the door with this on. Also it is too thick to close some tight doors.

This did not work for me. Door bumpers worked perfectly. My roommate tends to slam her bedroom door. I don’t know if she’s hard of hearing or I am just overly sensitive. This just didn’t work.

I use these to quiet down the sound that my bedroom door strike makes in my door latch. As hard as I tried, I couldnt always stop it from popping when I opened the door. This does a great job of solving that problem as the door strike never goes in the latch; its blocked by the thick material used in these latch covers so theres nothing to make a loud pop sound to wake up me or my wife at night! You no longer have to turn the doorknob at all; just push on the doorknob and the door swings open. These are incredibly easy to use; just use the elastic bands to attach it to both doorknobs and position the latch to the center of the latch cover and youre done! The material itself is nice and thick; I cant imagine itll wear out anytime soon. Mine is about a month old and is wearing very well. I wish Id found these years ago! If youre thinking about this type of product, buy this one now!

My doors will not latch shut like other reviews claim. But for doors you do not need to lock, get these! So much better for my son then having to be so tedious of opening and shutting doors as he sleeps.

I typically have issues with these being too short and difficult to put over our door lever. This particular brand are way too long. Once on, they hang snd barely cover the lock. It doesn’t provide an easy close like other brands. You still have to turn your door lever va other brands, the door just slides closed. I wouldn’t recommend, though they are working for what I needed.

I wish they were a little tighter, but they still work great, and I dont have to worry about my baby shutting and accidently locking herself in room in our house!
