> 24 hourI have a dozen of these in use around my ranch because the horses cant open them but I can with just one hand. A copy of the original Aussie Latch. Recommend.

> 24 hourHeavier than some others weve gotten other places. Best price Ive found. Pleasantly surprised! We have these on all gates that goats can access because its one of 2 types that dairy goats cant open. Arrived promptly, too.

> 24 hourI bought this for the gate entering our goat pen because I was tired of having to empty my hands so I could open the gate. It works great! Easy to open with one hand and its so simple!

> 24 hourLatch and ring are heavier than others we have purchased. Chain and fastening bolt also of good quality material.

> 24 hourBest pasture gate latch I’ve ever used. Easy to work with one hand. No need to exact measurements like the flip latches. Very “beefy” chain and latch that holds up to high winds and cows rubbing along the gate. We also use this latch to keep dogs in fenced back yard. I’ve used these latches for over 20 years. Nothing at any price has worked as well. The only con is the screw was half an inch short when drilled into our heavier gates which needed a 2 1/2” screw. Fixed that with a trip to Lowe’s. Inconvenient but still worth it. The screws supplies were perfect for the lighter red gates. Another bonus is people aren’t familiar with these latches can’t figure out how to open them.

> 24 hourThe staple that comes with it (the one that you will slide your latch through) is impossible to pound in. The ends are practically round, not pointed, so wont drive into a post/board. The latch is pretty, just not practical.
