it worked great .I just had to get use to it first .I do not like the tightness around my neck.

Item very snug fitting. A tapering from the back to the front would help in the chafing department. An additional cover would be nice.

Works perfect, I use this while driving my Yamaha YXZ side by side and definitely minimizes the shock to my neck and is comfortable

Sometimes the most simple design is the best. My application was driving a racecar on a track. This simple collar works very well to support/offset/transfer the weight of my Shuberth helmet to my shoulders. My neck felt fine on the day following 84 Track miles while wearing the helmet with this foam collar. I was lucky to get an open package deal thru Amazon that saved me few dollars. Not a good collar for kart racing.

Purchased this item specifically to reduce wind noise from turbulence under my helmet. This has been the most effective device for this purpose including all types of earplugs and helmet add-ons. I still wear earplugs because they both help. The only drawback is that it is slightly uncomfortable and requires a little more effort for head checks. Highly recommended.
