This product is outstanding and the company thought of everything. This kit included Three different fuse types to easily tap your fuse panel under the dash. The tap doesnt disturb the original circuit and provides a 5 amp fuse to power the device, in my case a radar detector. The uncoiled power cord allowed easy running up my A-Pillar to the head liner. The kit was packaged well, included multiple taps for three different fuse types including the three types of 5 ampere fuses, straight power cord of excellent length, and spare glass fuses for the in-line fuse leading to your device. The package also arrived the Next Day as advertised.

Bought this to replace an item that was disfunctional one I got in eBay. This had everything and more.

This is a fantastic wiring kit. I got a kit a couple years ago and it was terrible with soldering needed and the wire was too short. This wire is plenty long, there’s several different quick connect attachments making install a breeze. This was wonderful. I highly recommend this kit for anyone with a Uniden R1!

This is the hardwire kit to get! Everything you need is included. Make sure you plug the new (included) fuse and the existing fuse (if there is one) into the proper slots.

Ive used a number of different kits for detectors and cameras. This is definitely one of the better ones. Everything you need is included, even a fuse puller. A wide assortment of taps will cover most vehicles. The cord is long enough to reach whede you need it, while the rj side is reinforced which is not true on many others.

My original Escort hardwire failed. Why, I dont know. I thought the radar detector itself died, but when I plugged in the coiled cord, it worked fine. I bought this straight wire replacement (cheaper than Escorts hardwire kit and better constructed) and replaced the existing with this one. No issues. Very pleased.

The in-line fuse Holder seem to have intermediate connection. I tried working with it a few times and decided to cut it off and put a new in line fuse. The rest of the package was well thought out and I will still buy it again if given the option.

Great kit. It comes with a lengthy cord, several style fuse taps and several 5 amp fuses. Excellent kit and more importantly excellently priced when compared to kits offered by Uniden and other brands.

Good quality product, everything you need and then some. Easy install in 2013 Audi A6. Literally 10 minutes.
