Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

Great product. I was skeptical about spending $40 on a laptop stand of all things. But when I got it I was impressed. The build quality is amazing, very sturdy. I wish the height would be a little different, but Im getting used to it positioned next to the monitor.

The little rubber foot came off the first time I used it :( Otherwise its fine.

Great stand, gets the display on my laptop to the same height as my external monitor - makes doing work across multi-screens much easier. It frees up desk space and tidies the cables too. I notice my MacBook Pro runs cooler (fan doesnt come on as much); the stand is sturdy and matches the case beautifully.

As others have said, this is a solid piece of aluminum that looks like it was made and designed by Apple. So if you care about maintaining that aesthetic, this is the thing for you. Its extremely well designed and is perfect for my Macbook Pro 15.

The bottom of my stand were extremely unstable! I attempted to put it on my desk but my laptop was just so lopsided.I returned the product.

I used to hook external monitors ot my laptops when I worked at my desk, but I dont like all the extra cables to make me less likely to just pick it up on a whim. Having laptop flat on the desk was uncomfortable, like I was always looking over it and peering down at it. This stand seemed pricey, when I bought it, but now that I have it, it is easily worth the money. Puts 11 Air right where it should be, so I dont need the external monitor and, along with a wireless mouse and keyboard, the only cable I have is the power, making the setup immensely more useful. The Air hovers, suspended, over the front edge of my desk, so that the otherwise small display is more than enough for what I need.

I use it for my laptop and my iPad .

Works well.
