We have very robust rain storms in South Louisiana, at times so blustery that it rains INSIDE the umbrella. I thought that this version might solve the problem of the umbrella turning inside out or allowing rain to get under the umbrella. This design is so cumbersome that I am loathe to carry it unless its actually raining and I have no choice.

Literally five of the spokes snapped off on day one and it was unusable. Sent to back. Had a different one by a different company and it wasn’t cheap plastic.

It was soooo beautiful she keeps it open in her dining room so she can enjoy it every time she walks past the room.

This umbrella is beautiful. It will make me smile on a rainy day. My problem is that I ordered it because it is a hands free. I am handicapped and use a walker. I have not been able to use an umbrella and using my walker. This seemed to be the perfect solution. The only problem I have is how do I use it ? I tried it over my arm but it flops over. It also says it is self closing and I cannot figure out how to do that. What am I doing wrong? [email protected]

Close it so easy when it’s raining and you are in your car !

Just too heavy for my 93 yr old mother and hard for her to close. Fine for a regular person.

These are great umbrellas. They stand by themselves. No more leaning one in a corner somewhere and forgetting it. The “C” shaped handle is convenient to hang on your arm. Then to have it look like a famous painting is an added plus. I recommend them.

RainCaper Reverse (inside-out) Umbrellas feature a double canopy, hands-free handle, convenient free-standing design and sturdy fiberglass ribs for years of service. Choose from museum Fine Art prints and Classic designs.Reverse umbrellas are turning the world topsy turvy – umbrellas have been around for centuries... the RainCaper inverted umbrella is a new take on being prepared, staying dry and looking good on rainy (and sunny) days. A clever handsfree handle on the inverted umbrella lets you talk, text and travel in style. Carry your phone, purse, beverage or tote – the handsfree handle makes life easy. The upside-down umbrella stands on its own – so practical in a restaurant or coffee shop where you can try to hook a conventional umbrella on a chair, yet it always ends up on the floor. The inverted rain umbrella folds up to make it easy to get in and out of a car and keep cars and floors dry. RainCaper inverted windproof umbrellas have a generous 48” arc to provide lots of coverage; a double canopy won’t snag hair plus the design is visible both on top and inside the umbrella – sweet! RainCaper inside-out umbrellas are made to last – flexible fiberglass ribs withstand gusty winds and prevent blow-outs that break conventional umbrellas. Rainproof, windproof, generously sized, thoughtfully designed and crafted of premium quality materials – this is why a RainCaper Reverse (inside-out) Umbrella is a smart travel essential and a wise investment
