I got this for my 5-year-old grandson (who has a powerful swing for a 5-year-old). The bat dented on a solid hit at the first tee ball practice he used it at. So I returned it.

I am positive that someone used this bat for a full tee-ball season and then returned it and then Amazon sold it to me as brand new and sent it off. There are 20+ scratches, paint chips and scuff marks on this bat that I bought “brand new”. There is even dirt still stuck to the end of it. My son didn’t notice as he was so excited to open it and begin playing with it but I refuse to pay brand new price for a well used bat. So I will be returning.

This is just the right bat for a 5-7 year old who is a first time baseball player. The bat is not expensive so if your little baseball player chooses to not play next season, no big money spent. Its not as great as the more expensive bats thats cost 50 and 60 dollars and more, but its good for a starter.
