Red Devil 0405 Duraguard Kitchen & Bath Siliconized Acrylic Caulk, 5.5 oz, White

This silicone is easy to apply and use but it tends to get a bit yellow in the first few weeks unless you clean it with bleach.

My husband has knocked down our towel bar four times in two weeks, and I always get to fix it. I finally decided to apply some kind of adhesive to the few tiny points where the bar attaches to the plate. I didnt use a super glue, because I want to be able to remove the bar when I paint. So I chose this because I think I can break the seal without damaging the bar. I only used just a tiny bit, then installed the bar as usual (those terrible tiny screws!). Its been three weeks, and the bar has stayed put. Im happy.

These come in handy in a bunch of ways. Good to have on hand. A bit more liquify than regular caulk but I’m not complaining for the easy of use here.
