First off I have done a lot of these so this was not my first or last apple fix. Screen feels cheap like any other 15$ one on here with no coating on glass. It even came defective and won’t read in parts. Oh if you want to swap the home button you will have to rig it because even that was a joke. Really nothing good to say other than they make it look good with their box. After speaking with customer service I believe this company to be a scam selling 2$ glass knowing people can not send their bad product back and leave the lcd exposed.

Screen was scratched when it arrived. I should have stopped and sent it back. My wife really missed her I pad. This is the third time I have replaced her screen after she dropped it. When I installed this one the center area would not work. I pulled it apart and checked it. A small tear on the connector was evident. It is possible I did it during installation but this is my third time on this one and two others. I have requested a refund and will send it back. We will see how this goes. I have purchased the others from tis same seller with no problems so I am hoping they fix this. More to come.....

The screen works perfectly, and it included the right set of tools I needed and the guide to change the screen. I was even able to keep the original Touch ID. I have tried other screens and there were no guides, so I ended up losing the Touch ID, but this one had everything to make it work well.

Great video link. All required parts included. BE CAREFUL WITH LCD. I damaged mine removing a bad screw. Steady hands an advantage. Update 12/23/2019. Lost control on half touch screen. Defective after 60 days. May be a fluke, but had to buy another.

Set up well from the second attempt, removed the rubber frame for camera, added B7000 in corner where the wide cable is, rolled in a layer of kitchen stretch film, and after I used usual clear office sticky tape -several layers, let glue dry 48 hours and removed the film, result is wonderful like factory, after several days using no any blind spots or cracks. I dont have enough experience and couldnt insert web camera rubber frame in holes and just removed the frame. Couldnt put cable ideally and screen didnt completely set and it was 0.5 mm up, but some sticky tape pressure and the glue helped. Not bad for unprofessional guy like me.

I cant believe this actually worked. I have big dumb fingers and I was able to do this fix. The screen works perfectly. I have a small bit of the edge where I couldnt get the wires totally tucked in, but with a case in it, its unnoticeable. A great purchase to keep this older iPad going. Pro tip, be really clean and wear latex gloves. Its impossible to be perfect, but you can do better than me. I figured it wouldnt work so I didnt put much effort into a dust and fingerprint free environment.

Don’t try to purchase cheaper version as it will be full of bugs. Repair plus makes top of the line products and they work from the first time as long as you install it correctly.

During the process of replacing my screen, the screen itself has already cracked. This is the more expensive option which I went with because I was looking for a better quality. This is very disappointing to have paid more for it to so quickly crack.
