21-04-2025This kit provides everything you need to replace a cracked screen. It is very difficult to remove the old screen because the adhesive is strong, and the screen actually sits down in the frame. I used a hair dryer to warm the adhesive, but it took a long time. Also be careful with the connector for the home button. I broke it off of the main board and now the home button is toast. A learning experience for me, and hopefully you heed this warning. On the plus side, the iPad is working and not shedding parts of the cover!

> 3 dayI cant believe this actually worked. I have big dumb fingers and I was able to do this fix. The screen works perfectly. I have a small bit of the edge where I couldnt get the wires totally tucked in, but with a case in it, its unnoticeable. A great purchase to keep this older iPad going. Pro tip, be really clean and wear latex gloves. Its impossible to be perfect, but you can do better than me. I figured it wouldnt work so I didnt put much effort into a dust and fingerprint free environment.

Greater than one weekI tried to use the original home button from the iPad but the hole on the replacement was too small for it to fit into.

> 3 dayThe old screen was difficult to take off because it has shattered so I was taking a lot off in chunks. Suggest having a large surface area to work on and you will need a vacuum afterwards. Don’t try to wipe the LCD screen with glass on it or it will scratch. I could not salvage the built in button so I used the button already on the screen. However, the tools were great and the screen works great. I have my iPad back for a great price. You have to have patience. It also helps to have a magnifying device as the glass bits, screws and connectors are small, at least for me.

> 3 daySet up well from the second attempt, removed the rubber frame for camera, added B7000 in corner where the wide cable is, rolled in a layer of kitchen stretch film, and after I used usual clear office sticky tape -several layers, let glue dry 48 hours and removed the film, result is wonderful like factory, after several days using no any blind spots or cracks. I dont have enough experience and couldnt insert web camera rubber frame in holes and just removed the frame. Couldnt put cable ideally and screen didnt completely set and it was 0.5 mm up, but some sticky tape pressure and the glue helped. Not bad for unprofessional guy like me.

This type of Customer Service is what every Company should have. 100% Satisfied & I Would/Will Recommend them to All.

> 3 dayDescription is unclear but this includes a home button WITHOUT Touch ID. You can easily remove your home button and slap it on the new screen to keep the functionality. Also, make sure you have a heat gun, the glue needs to be hot to remove.
