This is a great butterfly habitat net cage. It is better than the one that comes with the butterfly hatching kit. I especially like the zipper door at the bottom to add and remove food and clean it as needed without disturbing the caterpillars.

Love this butterfly habitat. Worked well for my first batch of monarchs.

This insect net is very good.

The butterfly habitat arrived promptly and was immediately put to use raising Monarch butterflies. It is spacious and easily accessed. Cleaning is a breeze since the entire top unzips. Winter storage will be easy since the entire habitat collapses to the size of a paper plate!

Great product! It is very easy to use and see through. I love the door near the bottom to clean easily and feed thru without disturbing the cocoons on top. I would recommend it.

For the seller, packaging and mailing, was great, arrived on time. The product is good but I dont like the white screening. It is very difficult to see inside best vision is opening from top, all the sides are difficult to see tnrough. A normal window screen type netting would be better. I like the size. I can put some large sprigs of plants , milkweed for Monarchs, in easily. Better screening would make this much better.pp

My family and I really enjoyed watching the caterpillars turn into butterflies. This habitat made it super easy for us to watch them change.

This is a perfect little habitat for caterpillars to tent & build their cocoons & for your little naturalists to observe butterflies or other insects or reptiles. It will help them learn to keep a respectful distance from their temporary pets. I buy these for my grandkids every summer so they can watch the Monarch caterpillars they collect morph into butterflies & then release them It’s a very educational project. The habitat is a nice large size & very durable, but please remember it is made of netting & if treated with care should last several months. Ours last close to a year & then need to be replaced.

I used the item shortly after getting it in the mail. I placed several small twigs inside for the butterflies to rest on and the netting held up even with being pressed against and poked. I was successful in releasing six Black Swallowtail Butterflies! Light weight. I loved the position of the small zipper area which allowed for easier access.

Only complaint is the zipper gets stuck easy one the mesh when you are zipping and unzipping.
