I used these for a couple of weeks on my retainers. I forgot my retainers in them a few times, but I see no sign of damage (no metal parts on my retainers). 10-15 minutes of passive cleaning is rather easy to use for me. The cool blue color and effervescence effect is a plus.

These work extremely well for cleaning my family’s night guards, but the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Instead of coming in a box to protect the tablets from breaking, it came in a plastic mailer envelope causing a lot of the tablets to be in pieces. The soft boxes the tablets came in were partially crushed and torn, thus a bunch of the tablets broken. I highly recommend the tablets, however, the packaging needs upgrading. That is the reason I knocked off two stars from my review.

Does a good job cleaning, have used the product for a few years.

I love this product. There’s no smell at all. They leave my retainers very clean. When I wake up in the morning, I put my retainers in my glass with warm water and one of these tablets. By the evening, the water has turned from blue to clear, and my retainers are clean and ready to wear overnight. You can’t beat this product or the price, and I’ve been using this product for 5 years now!

Others got a newer/different product. I like Retrobrite, and it works well. I have not tried the new formula though.

I have been using this product for many years and have been happy with it. However, with the last 2 orders -- a 1 year supply purchased in August 2018 and a 6 month supply purchased October 2019 -- the tablets have been damaged, almost as if they were crushed with a mallet. With the August batch, about 70% of the tablets were damaged. With my latest batch, its 100%. Its very odd because the boxes were in perfect condition, so it would seem the tablets were damaged before they were packaged. Because of the many smaller particles, the foaming happens rapidly and is over quickly vs. the solid tablet. I would love to know if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Use it for retainer.

I use this product to clean my Invisalign Vivera retainer. My dentist said the retainers usually last a year, but this product kept them looking almost like new. My retainers last 3 to 4 years.

My partner had been using Efferdent for his Invisalign trays, but I couldnt stand the taste of those, even after rinsing thoroughly. These leave a mild taste, but its manageable. Theyre a go-to for daily use in our household, and my only complaint is that the packaging isnt remotely eco-friendly-- I would rather see them come in a large air-tight recyclable bottle.

I have to wear an upper & lower dental appliance where I had to suffer with the “aftereffects” even with a daily brushing with an extra toothbrush. Using Brite & following their directions, I can a fresh appliance ready for that evening wearing. I believe it can be used for any dental products where you desire a deep cleaning...
