> 3 dayIm writing a review for the product itself, not Amazon. They did the best they could it seems with Nintendos poor quality control. The Palutena amiibo arrived late for Amazon Prime but box wasnt damaged. However, the face is bad looking and the right hand is awful, appearing melted and blocky. Never pay above retail for her. She is very poor quality. Ill provide a photo. All these other reviews have nothing to do with the product and more to do with them being pleased at how well Amazon handles her release. Picture : http://imgur.com/Vjxh4ai As for her face, her left eye is too far to the left. Definitely not worth more than her retail and even thats debatable.

> 3 dayFirst, I should be clear; I didnt get this for the WiiU features. I dont actually own a game this work with. I thought it would give me a racing suit in Mario Kart 8, but it doesnt. I dont have Smash Bros, but if you do and you like Bowser, Im sure this is already in your collection. As a display figure, I like this guy. Hes nicely textured and painted with bright Nintendo colors. He cant be posed or anything, but at least he has a pretty decent static pose and doesnt come with a weird clear plastic support like some of the other Amiibo. I knocked off a star because his stance is a bit strange. Looks like he should be holding a fireball or koopa shell or something ... but he isnt. Still, he has a nice home on my shelf.

Greater than one weekCame just as described. Im using it actively, so the damaged packaging was of no importance to me. 10/10 would buy from them again.

> 3 dayThe princess of Hyrule gets her own amiibo figurine. As far as the figure itself, I am please with the amount of detail put into it, specially on her dress. The ugly purple stand under her dress is the only thing I dislike, but at least the dress sorta hides it so its no biggie. So far to my understanding it works for Smash Bros. and Hyrule Warriors. A good addition to anyones amiibo collection.

> 3 dayI was expecting the box to be a little bent, but it was actually in perfect shape, and I was a bit surprised by that. The quality of the Lucas amiibo was also quite good.

> 3 dayGiven that these figures have at least two purposes, Ill strive to address both of those in this review. First off, as a figure itself- Im actually surprised at just how great Mario looks- hes in my top three for favorite Amiibo and hes easily near the top for build quality. Theres no articulation, but these arent those types of figures (and theres a pretty great Mario figure available now for not a whole lot more than this, if thats your sort of thing!) Next, for the NFC portion- right now its uses are fairly limited, given that so few games are compatible with Amiibo. Because of this, Ill only be focusing on Smash Bros. Within that particular game, these are quite fun- its essentially an NPC you can bring with you into Smash matches. You can change the costume, level it up through fights, and feed it items to boost its base stats. It learns and adapts to fight beside (or against) you, and it does this very, very well. However, you cannot play as your amiibo or use it in non-smash modes, likely since it would greatly unbalance the single player experience. While disappointing, its understandable as this is supposed to be a game based on skill, not how many items do I have to eat until Im unbeatable? So, in summation- this isnt Skylanders or Disney Infinity. You dont need the Mario Amiibo to play as Mario, so for unlocking things hes not very useful. However, Amiibo can and WILL enhance your experience and bring more to the game than has ever been present in Smash before.
