> 3 dayI have been a fan of Rockford Phosgate for decades. When it was time to do another install for a new vehicle, choosing RF was easy. Performance is fantastic! It runs the pair of RF 2ohm 600w 12 woofers very well. I am nearing the end of their break-in period and have only had the volume up about 75%. They thump better than I hoped for! The amp itself had some confusing instructions regarding the possibility of clipping, but was able to figure it out. It also came with a CD that is used to dial in the signal. I am quite happy with my purchase :)

05-06-2025Rockford-Fosgate has been in my car amp lineup since the 80s. Ive never had a failure or performance issue and they are rock solid and CLEAN! Bought this one for my son for a Christmas present to match up with our professionally home built 15 sub and it sounds fantastic! Rockford-Fosgate continues to hit the mark for performance, quality and value.

> 3 dayI have this amp, which the birth certificate shows 750 watts rms @ 1 ohm, pushing a RF 12 P3D2...............LOUD!!!!! Makes people think I have a pair of 12s. Its also very clean, and have surprised alot of people with the quality of sound.

> 3 dayPurchased this amp along with the Rockford Fosgate Punch Remote Level Control and an InstallGear 4 Gauge Complete Amp Kit. Works flawlessly! I installed it in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ along with two Kicker 2010 Comp Series C10 4 Ohm 10 subs and one Kicker CompRT 2 Ohm 6.75 sub. Works great and made all my Kicker subs hit way harder than they did with my cheap BOSS Audio amp I had until I could afford a better amp. I love how the adjustment dials for this amp are all hidden under the cover so I never have to worry about them getting messed with. The instructions it includes are also very detailed for the initial setup. Rockford Fosgate continues to impress me!

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these...one for my challenger and one for my magnum....they are both pushing a pair of rockford fosgate P2d4 10s run down to one ohm in sealed boxes...and both amps handle it with ease and dont even get warm ....they have been in use for about 4 months now and slam like day 1....the one had a 768w birth certificate and the other was 752w at 1 ohm....

The Punch P500X1bd is a mono amplifier capable of producing 500 Watts into a 1-Ohm load.
Due to its dedicated low frequency response, this amplifier is optimized for mid-bass speakers or subwoofers only.
