Rockford Fosgate P500X1BD Punch 500 Watt Class-bd Mono Amplifier

I know people give out birth certificate of watts and mine came out to 789 in one ohm. Mine is wired at two ohms and delivers 511. I highly recommend this amp.

Came with a tuning cd, and although its rated at 500w rms, the birth sheet says it put out 761 watts.

Sorry the review took so long, absolutely love this amp, pushing two Memphis slim 10 dual 4 ohm speakers and it thumps pretty hard! Clean and crisp and clips pretty well.

Rockford-Fosgate has been in my car amp lineup since the 80s. Ive never had a failure or performance issue and they are rock solid and CLEAN! Bought this one for my son for a Christmas present to match up with our professionally home built 15 sub and it sounds fantastic! Rockford-Fosgate continues to hit the mark for performance, quality and value.

Overall the Amp is great, the only issue I had was I bought a brand new PLC2 for it and it didnt work, I returned that one and got another brand new one, same thing, so I am wondering if its an issue with the amp, but that is a minor issue I can live with.

Had a Boss riot 1100 in my crew cab gmc driving a single 12 shallow that I pulled from my old truck to get a little more thump. When I had the riot installed I was happy and thought it didnt sound bad, it went into protection mode a lot if I bumped it too hard. And one day I burned my hand on it so I stated searching for a 1 ohm amp asap. Well I installed this one and the paper said it passed with like 740-ish watts. Well I installed this with a good 4 guage wiring kit and all I can say is WOW! completely blows the riot away in every category! Which you would expect but dang, it just sounds so clean and crisp. I was thinking about buying 2 12s before but now it hits really good and Im completely happy! It hits clean all the way through and tuning it was very easy with the given instructions. It also looks clean with the hidden wire boxed area. Very happy, even though its more than what I wanted to pay since Im about to head to college but it is well worth it knowing this one will not catch my truck on fire!

Nice amp, pushing a single 12 P3 at 1 ohm. Doesnt sound as good as my Skar Audio RP800.1 on the same sub but that one over heat after 1 hour of continuous use, this one doesnt break a sweat. It also pumps out much more power than its rated
