> 3 dayHey guys! Im a Car Audio freak, and id like to make sure people know, that for one Rockford Fosgate is a 100% trusted brand, everything they say is true. Another thing is, just because this comes with a 100AMP fuse does not mean you need to use it. Alot of people think they do because amp kits, nowadays, come with the inline fuse. This is a BIG rookie mistake. [...] The link i just posted tells you all about what AMP fuse you really need. For example the Rockford Fosgate Prime R500-1 500-Watt Mono Amplifier (http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosgate-R500-1-500-Watt-Amplifier/dp/B001P86SMK/ref=cm_rdp_product) has two 30AMP fuses. This makes a basic 60AMP current. Now if you put the 100AMP inline fuse in the inline holder, your amp will blow because its been overloaded by 40AMPs. Think of your inline fuse holder as a gatekeeper, and your amp as a village. Your gatekeeper can let 100 people in (100amp fuse) however the village can only vacate 60 (two 30 amp fuses) people. If the gate keeper lets in 100 people the village becomes overloaded, hence the term amp overload. Its best to keep the 100AMP fuse in a draw for safe keeping and purchase a 60AMP inline fuse (AGU) with gold plated ends for best connectivity. Just make sure you match your amplifiers AMP fuse(s) to your inline fuse. (i.e a 60 AMP fuse to a 60 inline AGU). If you do not take heed to my knowledge, far worse things than your headlights dimming can happen. Freak fires burning your sweet ride to the ground, meltdown of the terminals, amp catching on fire, your inline amp fuse blowing. List goes on, but please take notice of my knowledge ill save you alot of money and chin scratching.

> 3 dayThis kit has absolutely everything your going to need to install your amp. No complaints here I ended up with a lot of wire leftover and a clear sound so the RCA cables are good quality unlike some kits out there.

22-11-2024Back in the day Rockford Fosgate was the cream of the crop! They are now made overseas (China I think) and while their amps are not as quality as the Punch200 days their wires are still really great! If you need a quality amp wiring kit, look no further. It has everything you need and the cables are long enough for most jobs. I would recommend this kit to anyone needing to wire their amplifier. The fuse was too much for my amp so I went out and bought a 50amp Maxi fuse; which you can get at any auto parts store!

Greater than one weekGreat product with good quality components. Put a small sub in my compact car and there was plenty of length to hide all of the wiring with more to spare for larger vehicles. Only four stars because the packaging was very frustrating! Make sure you have a good pair of scissors!

Greater than one weekVery high quality cable. Heavy, you could feel the difference when comparing to lower grade equipment. Definitely not a cheap knockoff, nothing like Rockford Fosgate!
