Rothco Canvas Zipper Duffle Bag

Very well made bag. Almost as heavy as a G.I. duffle bag. It is made of canvas only and is not waterproof in any way.

I expected too much out of this bag. I got the smallest one. I planned on filling it with sand for weight lifting. Well I filled it with sand and when I tried lifting it by one it its handles, riiiip, right off the bat. If I was using it for clothes or camping it would have been great! So, you cant FILL it with sand. You can, and it will hold, but the handles wont hold it. I can lift it up without its handles and its fine.. FULL of sand, which is probably around 75-125lbs. This is a durable, good quality bag. I hauled 2 scooters on an airplane in checked baggage and it held up well. No tears, rips and the zipper is awesome! Does not come with an over the shoulder strap.

Heavy duty but shoulder strap hooks have smaller support stitching which gives you the impression that they could snap with a fully loaded bag, even at around fifty pounds. Two zippers with holes in them allows for a small lock. Bags handles could have been closer to the zipper area on both sides so that you could lay this bag on the floor on the opposite of the zipper side facing the floor instead of on the side of the bag where dirt and dust will be collected.

This bag is GIGANTIC. Im a big guy (61 290) and I can get in it and zip it closed with some fidgeting room to spare. I call it my Dead-Body Duffle. You can fill the bag, but be careful what you fill it with. You may end up needing help to move it.

i got this thing and climbed inside of it it was so big! it is like a body bag! the only bad thing about this is that you can fill it with so much stuff that it cant handle the weight! i realized that and now i use it to hold toms. a great buy for the price however! (i bought the largest one BTW)

This bag is great, it is identical to a black bag I purchased in the 90s. I bought it for $5.00 then, a lot less than the $18. 00 it cost me today...inflation I guess. Its amazing how all things have increased in price and me as a part-time musician, receives the same amount as I did in the 60s. The bag is great, the same durability as in the 90s, and I received it pronto, the Co. was very expedient.

Does not have a stripe which makes award to carry. I folded a place inside my check in bag in a trip overseas. I went crazy with the sopping not having to worry about packing space

The bag arrived on time and is a considerable value based on durability. The only flaw I experienced was with the difference in sizing due to outside and inside descriptions. The bag has an outside diamension of 30 X 50 as opposed to an inside diamension of same as needed by myself in this case.
