I used three of these as portage packs for a recent BWCA trip. They fit inside of the canoe perfectly and they hold a ton of gear. We lined them with trash compactor bags to keep things dry that needed to stay dry. Id highly recommend these over getting a Duluth pack.

Great bag so far- love the shoulder straps ! The canvas is not as thick as another I bought, but still very sturdy and functional! Used mainly for lugging groceries up apartment stairs- very useful in that functionality. Have filled it up several times and it has done its job without fail. Shoulder straps could be a little more padded and longer, but still very good...

Excellent, heavy duty. Canvas is very strong and I can safely hold at least 40 lb. of gear in here. However, the closure is not very secure. Its simply a few flaps of canvas bound together by one clip.

I have bought many Laundry bags from the local store and they keep ripping. I got two of these bags for my dirty laundry for traveling. They are very sturdy. Love that I can backpack it to the Laundry mate. I will never have to buy another Laundry bag. Thank you.

First off, let me say these things are very rugged and durable. We were going camping, and I crammed 7 pillows, and 5 full sized fluffy blankets in it. My wife tried first, and only got about half of it in, but I am a little stronger and a lot heavier, and I literally trash compacted everything in there. Most bags probably would have burst at the seems, but this thing held up like a champ. It actually can fit quite a lot. If you are looking for something where you want to leave most of your stuff in it while you are searching inside it, this is not for you. Everything gets buried by the whatever you put in next. But if you just need to haul stuff, and want a very durable bag, this is it.

My Husband been a Hunter for 52 years , many years of carrying burlap sacks on his back . I found this canvas bag on line and thought We try it out, It seemed a little less troublesome to handle than those Burlap bags , need less to say …. This bag is the best ever . Very happy with it, easier to lift with the handles , sturdy , very durable product. He loved the bag so much we ordered a few more of these canvas strap bags for hunting season for next year . Highly recommend !! We surely give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

this is exactly what I was looking for. I used to own a musty smelling one from a army/navy store when I was a kid, but its long gone. Using it as a second checked bag to haul camping gear on a plane. There was an earlier review stating that this bag is only 11 wide. Theres obviously some confusion here. laid flat, this item is 20 wide. This is a BIG, top loading duffle bag.

I only take one star off for skimping on some of the lining to inhibit water, as well as that they could have put a more durable clip for the top. Otherwise its a great duffle bag and holds everything and more than I could ask of it.

Ive yet to be disappointed by a Rothco product. This one is going on a long trip with me. Right out of the box, this thing is rugged, sturdy, and looks the part. More to come...
