Great Bag! Used it for camping. Strapped it to my sissy bar using the back straps and adjustable bungie cords. I was able to fit the following: sleeping bag, Abel Brown tent, ENO DoubleNest Hammock, clothes, provisions and a few other unmentionables. Has great closure hardware for a top loading bag. Doubled as an excellent back rest for the ride as well. Also good for laundry and any other essential storage need. The back straps are handy, and although padded, could use just a tad more cushion. Either way, they serve their purpose well, and it’s still a comfortable carry.

Its huge, its durable, the backpack straps work well enough, and the fastening mechanism is easy, secure, and strong. One thing to note, while it isnt incredibly wide, it is very long. If you fill it up and wear it the top will loom out of your head a bit. Not an issue in my opinion. One final note: if you have someone do your laundry for you, you may want to convince you to subtract the weight of the bag; the heavy canvas and metal grommets may add a pound or two.

Ive used this consistently for about a year now. Its been through many airports and shows no sign of slowing down. I literally dont know how it will ever wear down. Im guessing I will be using this forever. Its huge.

I took a trip out off state on a greyhound bus. Of the trip, 4 days were on buses. This böag was tossed on the ground, thrown under a bus with dozens of other bags, drug across pavement, had other bags dropped on it and was otherwise subject to rough handling. It didnt damage any of the seams and didnt cause and other tears or cuts. My military issue bag didnt hold up quite as well. I like this one and plan to use it for future trips. It locks the same way a military issue bag does but this one seemed harder to get the lock on but it could be that the lock is a different style than Im use to. Well see how many more trips itll survive. I already have a second trip planned.

...but without the smell. Its as marginally comfortable as I remember too. I use it for carrying groceries up to my apartment in one trip.

Ok so I bought this bag for my boyfriend to carry his Bait out to his deer stand. He loves the double shoulder straps and the durability of this bag! He loves so much he asked if I would get him another!

I bought for a friend who mentioned they wanted /needed another bag like one they already had. He didnt know I planned to get for him. The deciding factor was next day delivery - there was a similar item less expensive, but couldnt wait weeks. I gave in sealed box. I was present when he opened & upon examination he expressed delighted - said was perfect. The quality was better than I had anticipated based on a few negative reviews I had read. Looked good, but cant comment further.
