> 24 hourYou get a lot of quality software here especially if you have artistic tendencies. Im not a great artist or even a very good one, but I sometimes do some drawings and designs, and at least my family has liked them. I have a fancy tablet, and stylus for drawing on screen, and being a covid shut-in for now, a lot of time on my hands. Plus, I have a lot of video and sound files Id like to archive lest, I might lose them off my computer hard drive in a crash, so this makes burning them to disk easy. Tons of other useful productivity software. Plus, they still have the disc version, and since most of my computers are a bit older, they use that, and have burner capability. Recommended.

> 24 hourBeware Roxio NXT 8 and Paintshop have performance issues. Slow, freeze ups. I discovered after buying first Paintshop 2021 for windows 10, very slow freezing up at time, then saw in the software, C++ version 2012. What I believe Corel is doing is using basically the same software (e.g., Old Roxio media Creator suites, very old Paintshop) made 10+ years ago and just doing minimum patch work to barely get by so it will work on todays window 10 computers for quick sales. Thats why there are so many performance issues I had and so many others. It is misleading and dishonest. Corel needs to do a complete programming overhaul on these software with updated programing code versions. Instead of doing the minimum so not have to invest in rewriting the software so it is truly compatible with todays systems as they advertise. Software is not fully compatible, that is why there are problems. Its like the old trick of cleaning and painting the engine of an old used care so you dont see the oil leaks. Very disrespectful. Giving old crap and selling it as new. Sleezy!

> 24 hourRoxio Creator NXT Pro 8 performs well when it works, but post-purchase technical support is non-existent. After waiting almost a week for a response from the Roxio (Corel) technical support team to address my support request, I had to come up with my own solution which I will pass along as a public service. If the software is installed onto a laptop and abruptly crashes (shuts back down) after attempting to open up the program, try turning off the Wi-Fi connection to use the program. This was the answer for my HP ZBook 17 G6 Mobile Workstation. To run the program, turn off the Wi-Fi to open up, and then turn the Wi-Fi back on once Roxio is loaded. To install program updates, turn off Wi-Fi, open up Roxio, turn Wi-Fi back on, download and install updates. Pretty bad when a company will not support its own products. Hope others will benefit from this...

> 24 hourthis product i purchased i sent in a request for help because it would not download to my computer, says it is outdated. i spent a lot of money for something i cannot use and i asked for a refund or at least the right updated version. not fair to be taken with false claims like this. I need my money refunded. i sent in a complaint that said serial numbers were wrong on this product. you shouldnt be allowed to sell something that is outdated. Thanks Larry

> 24 hourThe disk arrives in a thin box which also contains a card with the serial/registration number. Nothing else. No documentation. The in-program documentation is poor and the support from Corel is all offshore and VERY POOR both in accessibility and content. The software works OK once you have figured it out by (extensive) trial and error. I still have an issue (naming/labelling DVD chapters) that I havent solved. NO help from support.

> 24 hourI have been using Roxio software products for well over 10 years and have been happy with their various products for the most part. This particular bundle is a slam dunk when it comes to value and includes some of their most popular and useful titles such as PaintShop Pro, which I have been using for probably 20 years now. In addition to PSP the bundle includes a number of ripping and burning tools that can be used for converting various file types and allowing you to burn them to CD/DVD. Keep in mind, while the product allows you to rip commercial CDs it does NOT allow you to make copies of commercial DVDs or Blu-Ray disks. In order to make copies of those you will need to bypass their copyright protection scheme which you will have to do with a different product. You CAN convert decrypted commercial DVDs and non-copyrighted titles and burn them using this product. All of the titles included with this bundle are very mature and stable. Support from Roxio is excellent and you can find a number of videos on YouTube on how to use many titles, especially PaintShop Pro, which has the best support of any of these titles. You will obviously need a CD/DVD/Blu-Ray burner in order to burn audio/video/data to disk. I have used most versions of PaintShop Pro and cant say as there is a lot of difference between the 2020 and 2021 version. Same goes for the rest of the titles. So, if you have the 2020 versions of these titles there are not a lot of reasons to upgrade. However, if you are missing any titles or have much older versions of these titles it is well worth the price this sells for,

> 24 hourMy husband installed this program on his computer because he needs to digitize a lot of VHS tapes of family memories and footage of his model railroad. Hes used other programs in the past, but the results too often wouldnt play on most DVD players. He reports that this program is SO easy to use he couldnt believe it. The DVDs he has created using it work perfectly on all of our players. Hes thrilled. The only thing he wasnt thrilled about was the length of the installation process. He finally just let it do its thing overnight, and that worked fine.

> 24 hourThis software suite allows me to create DVDs with very nice menus. There are lots of things I like about this software: * It is intuitive, so not a huge learning curve. * The DVD I create can contain multiple movies which will show up on the main menu of the DVD. * It allows me to customize each of the DVDs menus with my personal background photos, or I can use stock backgrounds that are included. * I can add music to each of the menus. * It can deal with many formats of media files * I can setup a scene selection menu for each movie on the DVD I create. I can manually define what scenes I want on the scene menus, or I can have the software automatically create scene selections every X minutes. * I can add a movie scene that plays before the main menu comes up. * I can burn my project directly to a DVD without additional software, or I can save it as an .IMG file to burn later on a different computer. Handy if I want to create a DVD and send it to friends and family so they can burn it. * It says it can handle BlueRay, so if I ever decide to upgrade my hardware, the software should be able to handle it. Things I have difficulty with are: * The disk comes with no printed instructions. Was not too difficult to figure out how to install it, and work it, but a printed manual would have been nice. * I had to install this software twice in order to get it to work properly. First install exited after install without installing much of the software. The MYDVD software worked, but many of the NXT suite icons on the start menu did nothing when I clicked them. Other suite icons gave me a registry error when I clicked them. Another install without uninstalling has corrected all of my known problems. This is cool software for creating custom DVDs. I like it and recommend it to anyone who has the need or desire to create custom DVDs.
